Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Eleonora in Scauri war einfach rundum gelungen. Das Personal war aussergewöhnlich herzlich, freundlich und gut gelaunt – allen voran Mariano, der uns schon beim Frühstück mit Spässchen unterhalten und uns täglich zum Lachen gebracht hat. Seine humorvolle Art war eines der Highlights unseres Urlaubs und hat die Atmosphäre im Hotel besonders gemacht.
Auch der Strand, der im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen war, war sehr sauber und angenehm, mit gutem Service direkt vor Ort. Unser Zimmer war sauber, gut ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderschönen Ausblick – wir haben uns absolut wohlgefühlt.
Wir empfehlen die Villa Eleonora jedem, der authentisch italienische Ferien machen und vom Rummel abschalten möchte.

The view and the sea!
For the price we paid in September, I honestly expected a much better breakfast. Unfortunately, that was a big disappointment. The grumpy man serving food was visibly annoyed when asked simple questions like whether they had scrambled eggs, fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers), or fruit. Sadly, those things were nowhere to be found.
The only staff member worth mentioning was Luigi, who greeted us with a smile and was very polite. But apart from him, the breakfast experience was a complete disaster. No freshly squeezed juices (in a place like this it would be easy to put a juice machine so guests could help themselves), no fruit at all – which is quite rare nowadays. No tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, or even fried bacon. The only options were hard-boiled eggs and an overwhelming amount of cakes. Everything was served in tiny portions by the same unfriendly man, who would pull faces if you dared to ask for more than a single slice of cold cuts.
The quality of the meat and cheese was terrible, and there was no fresh bread – only toast bread. Honestly, the only good thing was that the weather was nice during our stay.
If you’re dreaming of a proper, delicious breakfast, I would recommend going to Spain, Portugal, or even back home to Poland.
La struttura è di fronte al mare e il servizio spiaggia è incluso. La camera è abbastanza spaziosa e non manca di nessun accessorio, letto comodo, frigo e cassaforte in stanza. Personale cortese e disponibile. Ottima colazione inclusa, e possibilità di cenare in hotel. La cucina sarebbe migliorabile ma tutto sommato accettabile. Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole.

La colazione seppur abbondante dovrebbe includere: prodotti biologici, frutta secca, yogurt naturali, uova scrambled, latte di soia, di avena, di riso, diversi tipi di pane (pane integrale, diversi tipi di panini, ecc.).
Il telecomando del televisore non funzionava. Frigobar presente ma vuoto.
Struttura accogliente, situato fronte spiaggia ed ideale per qualche giorno di relax. Sicuramente da tornarci. Grazie allo staff per la loro professionalità e gentilezza.
