A great stopover while travelling from Sussex to Devon.
Pros:

Stayed there before, picturesque sunset views. A genial hostess who engages with you and willing to give time.For me a really good steak pie that was one of the best while looking over the countryside. The ranch style accommodation has covered verandas in front of the bedroom which makes it a pleasure to sit out and have an evening drink should the weather be suitable.

Comfortable stay in spacious accommodation.
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at The Flying Fish and were made to feel very welcome by the obliging staff. The room and ensuite were spacious and quiet. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the conservatory with views over the countryside.

Lovely people, lovely food, lovely place

Food was lovely the staff were great..a great place to come to relax and have a great meal

Cons:

The bathroom floor was very slippery when wet. Even though a bath mat was provided. As a wheelchair user unsteady on feet so felt very unsafe

Clean, comfortable with wonderful staff and view - well worth the money!
Pros:

The setting was beautiful, the view was stunning!
Having the little seating area outside was wonderful.
The in room facilities were perfect and great value for money. Clean, comfy bed and brilliant shower!
All staff were impeccable, food was delicious and breakfast was faultless.
Will definitely stay here again.

Pros:

Lovely room, very comfortable and had everything I needed. Staff were very friendly and polite. I had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. Breakfast was excellent, good quality ingredients. Top class for a budget price!

What a Gem!
Pros:

We had a very warm welcome & were shown to our very spacious room...the bed was amazingly comfortable!
We had dinner in the restaurant where the atmosphere was friendly & had a warming caribbean vibe. And the food, well...nothing short of spectacular!
Breakfast was also great & was delivered to our room...perfect!
The hosts & all the staff were really lovely, so thank you all for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back xx
