Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
Pros:

Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil mais ce que nous avons apprécié par-dessus tout c'est la qualité des lits, grands, neufs et confortables.
Nous étions 4 voitures et nous avons également apprécié la possibilité de se garer sans difficulté.

Cons:

Nous avons pris le plat du jour au dîner mais tout était si épicé que certains d'entre nous n'ont pratiquement rien mangé. Il serait judicieux d'informer les clients ou de mettre la sauce épicée dans un récipient à part.

This was a short quick stop over away from the beaten track on our journey home
Pros:

The menu selection is excellent, the food was very good quality and the service good. This is a very local and out of the way place and the quality of food met expectations.

Cons:

The selection from the menu and the atmosphere in the bar. We sat and conversed with a few regulars and chatted about the local area,

Pros:

This is our second stay at the Flying Fish Stables and it was as always a great experience! Excellent quality accommodation in a beautiful country setting. The view was stunning which only added to the enjoyment of our stay. Very comfortable room, super quiet and soundproofed, very safe, very clean, lots of facilities, breakfast cooked perfectly, but above all excellent hosts. Kate and team were all incredibly kind and helpful so we really enjoyed our stay with them again, many thanks!

Our amazing overnight stay at The Flying Fish
Pros:

The Flying Fish accommodation and restaurant are amazing and the surrounding countryside is beautiful and scenic. The owner Kate and her husband are absolutely lovely and very welcoming as our their team. We have been staying in the Chard area and nearby villages for the past week visiting family and The Flying Fish was our last overnight stay before going back home. We can honestly say that this was our most enjoyable evening of the week. Our accommodation exceeded our expectations and our meal in the restaurant was delicious. There is an amazing menu choice of food, drinks and cocktails with a most enjoyable ambience. The breakfast choice is plentiful and you can have a cooked breakfast to order, our mixed omelette was tasty. We will definitely return to The Flying Fish and can thoroughly recommend.

Quiet location , bit tricky to find google maps didn’t pick it up so use postcode : warm Welcome , room no 1 comfortable and perfect for overnight stay : v good dinner menu varied & food is well presented :

Cons:

Bizarrely the curtains didn’t fit the window - too short - so lot of light comes in the morning. Easily fixable
