Disappointing for the price
Pros:

Clean room and public areas. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee.

A problem with the TV was remedied immediately.

Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Big things: The room was left unlocked 2 days running by the cleaners. The coffee sachets were not replenished one day of three. Both unacceptable.

Medium things: Bathroom was not cleaned properly and the bed was given a 'straighten' rather than being 'made'.

Little things: The room was not as big as expected and the huge bed was too big for it. That meant that there was no room for a sofa, and there was no public space to relax in. The kettle was too big to fill under the basin tap - actually too big for a double room. Only 4 coffee sachets - 2 of which were decaffeinated - and no replacements available when the bar was not open. The shower cubicle was comically small - I am by no means big but my knees and elbows were constantly banging against the doors and walls.

Pros:

Location was very good. Decking out the back of pub was welcoming in the heat. Overlooking field which was lovely. My husbands birthday and we were able to visit Broadway. Alcester town is lovely little high street. Not far from our stay in the pub. Food was excellent. Roast beef was very nicely cooked and generous slices. Breakfast was very nice too

Cons:

The excessive heat during our stay made our room which I think was over the kitchen very hot and although there was a ceiling fan it was very hot in there. Also, the extractor fan outside the window was noisy. Obviously we only slept in the room so it wasn't a big deal

Everything we needed for a one night stay
Pros:

Room was nice…shower was excellent…plenty of parking…and as last orders were early there were no late night rousers…views at rear of property were beautiful and seating outside was perfect…very friendly staff

Cons:

Was on a busy main road and quite away from the village needed a car… breakfast was a bit over cooked and toast was on plate with breakfast rather than a toast rack with a small side plate but these were minor things

Lovely place to stay, great location, food amazing, staff very helpful and polite.
Pros:

my stay was excellent, room was clean and had everything I needed, the shower pressure was amazing very powerful. Dinner was lovely and breakfast included was very good, even a posh coffee wasn't extra. Lovely location and a stunning outside area for relaxing in the sunshine.
Would 100% recommend and stay again.

Cons:

The room was a bit small but as I was staying alone so it was great for me, might of been abit snug for two people. No other negatives.
