Cons:

The 2 spare beds in the room made it cluttered. We did not ask for a family room.

Pros:

The location was convenient although right on the road which was busier than we'd realised. The room was adequate and clean although not luxurious. The shower was great and so was the breakfast. Staff were very helpful.

Cons:

Busy road. Loose headboard was uncomfortable. Small towels.

Pros:

Lovely building and gardens. Very helpful staff

Cons:

Very noisy, at night, talking from room next door. In the morning, showers can be heard . Appreciate this is an old building, but insulation would be good.

Basic hotel that needs a refurb before charging these sort of prices
Pros:

Lots of parking, room size quite good, friendly staff, clean room, warm (although it was August), the breakfast was actually quite good (coffee poor though)

Cons:

The hotel looks good from the outside but is really underwhelming as soon as you step inside. It is dated, tired and old. The pictures are way better than reality. We were hoping for a well kept, well decorated, organised and comfortable stay in an independent hotel and were willing to spend a little more than the generic chains. The rooms need a refurbishment, the bathroom in particular was tired, the breakfast room was tired with old equipment and furniture. One of the selling points for the hotel was an on site EV charger - it broke instantly and I had to drive to the nearest town and sit for 30 mins (not terrible I know but it didn't help). The plug in our sink jammed, I went to reception and they confirmed this is a very common issue, they didn't fix it though so we cleaned out teeth in the shower.

The Old Rectory Hotel, a Little Gem.
Pros:

The hotel and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The fact that an outdoor pool was available and included within the price we paid for the night, was a massive bonus, especially with 3 children who were excited to use it.
Breakfast selections were very good, from cereals all the way to cook breakfasts which are made fresh to order. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

A little gem of a hotel away from the noise, a nice place to relax. We would definitely look to comeback and stay.

Cons:

Wasnt much to dislike to be honest.

Great location for exploring this lovely area of the country.
Pros:

The room was clean with a good sized shower and the added bonus of a fan! Good selection for breakfast which suited all the family. The pool was a god send, I couldn't get my daughter out of it. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was a little tired in places and could do with a general spruce. My daughter and I shared a room but we were only provided with one set of towels, although it was no problem to sort this. The bed wasn't the comfiest (although this is probably down to individual taste), and kept banging against the wall whenever you turned over.

Not up to expectation from how it looked outside.
Cons:

Breakfast wasn't great, took a long time and was burnt, over cooked. Bedroom had marks and scuffs, bed was broken and missing bits like metal headboard ornament. Decoration in bathroom was poor.

Good hotel. Good location Good Breakfast and a swimming pool
Pros:

The hotel is in a good location for exploring the area.
Bedroom was clean and comfortable.
Easy distance to Wroxham and only 20 mins away from Norwich Centre, though we did go in the evening so no traffic.
Having the swimming pool was excellent and the pool area was clean and welcoming.
In general a good place to stay.
The amazing waitress at breakfast on Saturday morning. On her own serving around 8 tables.
Absolutely brilliant. When we came back to hotel later she was cleaning windows and then the rooms. She was like a whirlwind.

Cons:

The welcome on arrival was a little short. Hello here’s your room key, breakfast 8 to 10, nothing else.
