A gem of a place. Well appointed spacious rooms. Very clean throughout the property. Well maintained and pleasant grounds. Good parking. Excellent breakfast. Easy access to Norwich and Airport. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Can’t think of anything that I didn’t like, it ticked all the boxes of what I expect in a hotel.
Very large and comfortable bed. Happy and friendly breakfast staff.
Shower was powerful but water flowed almost in one stream
Breakfast was good staff at breakfast good
No evening meal not even a soup
Location
Noisy wedding party which we were not warned about. Very limited menu for evening meals.
Lovely food & friendly staff. Comfy bed - easy parking.
Thought the rooms could do with a little refresh decor wise but they were very comfortable and clean.
I needed a vat invoice but there was nobody on reception
The reception check in was easy, the room was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities and water in the mini fridge.
The breakfast was Included in the cost of our stay and it was fabulous.
It's grounds are very pretty and well kept - we had a two night stay and we would definitely return if we needed to stay in the area again.
the price, the room, the location was perfect for where our function was.. all in all a nice stay
our table for breakfast was right next to the entrance of the restaurant, there were people in and out while we were eating which kind of took the edge off breakfast
Super helpful staff. Made my daughters three weeks day whilst she attended a course nearby feel safe, comfortable and welcoming.
Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent and catered for gluten-free and dairy-free diets.
Room was really big and spotless. Breakfast was delicious!
Nothing
Easy to find, lovely rooms, patio area and dining area. The in house food menu is small but had things we were happy to try and were indeed enjoyed by us both. The bar was enough but closes at 9 but we were wanting an early start the next day to not an issue. The staff were all super nice and so obliging
My wife thought the bed was hard and woke a few times but I myself slept well
A very tranquil location surrounded by beautiful nature. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety to choose from, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
At breakfast, only single-serve portions of soy or oat milk were available, which weren’t really sufficient for making a latte. It would be great to offer a bottle or larger supply of oat or other non-dairy milk for guests who don’t drink cow’s milk.
Location, price and comfy bed
The decor and furnishings looked a bit tired and dated
Breakfast was excellent, good choice and staff who served breakfast were polite and friendly
The greeting on reception when we arrived, unfortunately I felt we were an inconvenience, we have stayed before and the staff on reception have been lovely this time however was different, I can’t say she was unpleasant but I felt it was an effort to greet us, when you have driven a long way it’s nice to see a friendly face
Attending a function with a large group of friends. Excellent venue with good food served at the dinner dance and at breakfast.
