I genuinely regret giving this business my money.

About two hours before arrival, while I was driving, the hotel called and told me they were sold out and had people waiting for rooms. Although my Booking.com reservation did not require prepayment, they suddenly demanded my credit card information over the phone and told me my reservation would be canceled if I didn’t provide it.

The call was incredibly uncomfortable. I was being pressured to give my credit card information to an unfamiliar phone number, and when I questioned it, the employee, Paige, actually said, “Are you gonna share your credit card or not?” She later apologized, but by then the interaction already felt more like a scam call than communication from a legitimate hotel.

I specifically asked what would have happened if I had missed their call. They confirmed that they would have canceled my reservation. So apparently, even a confirmed reservation does not mean much here once the hotel is full and someone else is waiting for your room.

Ironically, I was then told I was “in luck” because I was getting one of their best rooms. The room had a damaged door that did not properly seal, suspicious marks on the door that looked like bullet holes, and around a dozen large black flies inside. See the photos.


I tried raised this with the manager next morning, only to have them see how their behavior impacted me hoping that. The manager has said that “normally they don’t do this but this was an extraordinary situation.” What’s the extraordinary condition? Just because you have enough demand should not mean you can leave your guests with no option in the middle of the night in a small city. After explaining how scammy this looked and how unacceptable the behavior is, the manager told me “What do you want from me?”. Un-f-ing-believable! How they treated me before the appointment isn’t enough, then their manager yells at me for simply telling what I’ve gone through.

The room had bugs in it. The staff said that they someone had complained the week before but they thought they had gotten them all out. They had ordered spray but it hadn't been received yet.

Room was very small.

It’s always clean the rooms always smell really good and the staff is always super friendly

The parking lot has some pot hole and uneven pavement. My car sank into one, which pulled loose the skidplate under my car.

The whole vibe is a bit strange, but it's a highway motel, with many truck drivers etc. just staying there for a night. The room was okayish, the mattress was horrible to be honest, also lots of noise from the freeway so earplugs are a must.. No shampoo in the bathroom, which needs renovation (the rest of furniture was new-ish)
