Very relaxing and pleasant.
Pros:

Loved the quiet country atmosphere. The Inn is quaint and beautiful. Loved looking at the horses while having breakfast.

Cons:

The breakfast was good but could have been better with some fresh fruit.

The restaurant pub was closed. There are no eateries close by with all recommended ones several miles away involving a drive on the interstate.

Pros:

The overall appearance is a bit old. It is nicely located for hiking and would be great for families with kids as it had a game room in the basement next to their pub which wasn’t open while we were there.

Cons:

Bathroom was very small.

We have a nice memory of staying at Franconia Inn
Pros:

We liked the ambiance of an old Inn. It gave us a peaceful, relaxed feeling, especially since there wasn’t a tv blaring in our faces. So we walked outside a lot, watched with awe as planes towed gliders. Nice bonus! Sitting in the sun by the pool was relaxing too. The meal in the dining room was fantastic, especially the salmon! And our waiter Josh was excellent!

It took a long time to get hot water in the shower

This inn is a great place to stay. We recommend it highly.
Pros:

Excellent meal in the pub! Friendly and courteous staff. Appreciated the offer of an upgrade!

Cozy Inn, loved the fireplaces and hot beverages available in the common areas, xc ski trails right out the door. Outdoor hot tub.

No regrets!
Pros:

Very nice and helpful staff. From the front desk to the bartenders, everyone was friendly and gracious. We loved the location and the building. So pretty! Breakfast was nice, and the setting is gorgeous.

Location was great for exploring many of the areas in the White Mountains. Can highly recommend!
Pros:

The Franconia Inn is lovely. The Inn has several rooms on the 1st floor that are very welcoming and can be used for games or reading. The Inn is not near any restaurants or shops but I imagine it is a wonderful location for horseback riding, cross-country skiing, etc. I ate dinner downstairs in the pub and had a very tasty and enjoyable meal.

Cons:

Although the staff was very friendly, unfortunately they did not give us all the information we needed for our stay. They neglected to mention the hot tub on the premises, along with the fact that none of their restaurants onsite was open for dinner the second night of our stay. It was very disappointed as we returned in the evening planning on eating at their pub and not wanting to go back out to find another dinner spot.

Charming with a nice location
Pros:

The inn has a lot of charm and history to it. If you want a quiet getaway that feels more isolated than it is, this is the place. The lounge with its many seating areas and fireplaces made the place feel really special.
The location is great as its just a 10min drive to Franconia Notch State Park, and 15min to various nearby towns for restaurants. The pub with live music is also a highlight of the place.
We found the bed comfortable and rooms clean and quiet.

Cons:

The rooms could use a little more attention to detail. They were clean, but behind some armchairs in our room, we noticed multiple holes in the floor, where we could literally see into the floor beneath us. Also, it's a small detail, but our bed did not have bedside tables; I thought this was a strange oversight since the majority of ppl need a bedside table for books, water, meds, glasses, phone, etc... we ended up moving a larger table across the room to try to accommodate us.
The breakfast is simple; there is no warm food, apart from bread you can toast. The rest is made up of cold foods such as yogurt, cereal, fruit. This surprised me since they have a full running kitchen they can use.
