Aparthotel República

I checked in at one of the smaller apartments in the beginning. Santiago was very helpful from the beginning with leaving the keys in the reception so I didn’t have to check in at Muntaner after 18:00. Later we moved to a bigger apartment which was very comfy. Santiago once again helped alot by letting us check in earlier as I had a meeting. He also gave us a discount!

The heating in the apartments are great, and you have all the necessary things you need such as kitchen equipment, washing machine, towels etc. Very nice location as well!

Moreover, there was a lot of fighting from the neighbour apartment one night that woke us up. We called the reception and the nightshift took it very serious and solved the situation in a minute. Very much appreciated.

L’hôtel nous a attribué un appartement en sous sol avec plein de cafards à la sdb et dans la chambre.
Puis les escaliers n’étaient pas sécurisés pour les enfants.

Et le pire c’est qu’ils m’ont prélevé la caution de 350€ alors que nous avons rendu le lieu dans un parfait état.

Je dois maintenant faire toute une procédure pour demander la restitution de cette caution.

Habitación limpia y confortable.

Very rude guy at the front desk, the apartment isn’t suitable for a family with small kids. Everything is open so there is no privacy to change if the bathroom is occupied. No locks on bathroom just sliding door.
Area is okay it was easy to take the bus from there.

Great little apartment, enjoyed a long weekend in Barca. Just a concern then receptionist said I’d get the €350 back by Friday 18th July since we checked out on Monday the 14th. Other than that it was a good apartment to stay in.

Stort fint rum men tyvärr inte avdelat som bilder och beskrivning. Trasig bäddsoffa som vi påpekade första dagen men inte fick åtgärdat. Dessutom stopp i avloppen så det blev bara snabbduschar. Bra städat. Väldigt lyhört precis som andra beskrivet. Men väldigt bra läge i stan.

Beach and train station very close

Abit worried when we are going to our damage deposit back, we checked out at 10am Wednesday 12th March, we were unaware about the damage deposit of £350, so was abit of a shock, there was no-one on reception desk when we left so couldn't ask anyone. We left the apartment spotless as worried about getting it back. Location was abit too far away from what we needed. Apartment clean and comfortable. Reception helpful apart from the shock of having to pay 350 euro when arriving. Can anyone advise.

Nice stay at great location. Metro station nearby, also many supermercato to buy food and supplies. 👍

I had a wonderful stay at Apart Hotel República. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect—central yet quiet. With great amenities, it offered both comfort and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Barcelona.

Everything was great, I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Barcelona Spain.
Perfect location for the metro shops and sites.
The room has everything we needed, it really made our stay feel like home.
They even held out luggages after we checked out, so we can enjoy the city before our flight, also Thank you to Santiago for great customer service.

Honestly, the staff were ok and the room itself was nice but they demanded a 350 EURO deposit upon arrival which wasn’t stated in my booking. I had to hand over all my spending money (and more) to them with no guarantee it’ll come back. When I explained that I didn’t have this large sum to spare, I was told my options were to cancel and be stranded in Barcelona or pay it - that’s it. I felt I couldn’t even move in my apartment for fear of my deposit being knocked down. There were ‘quiet hours’ after 9pm so felt I couldn’t stay out later than that as I was worried of losing my deposit. Completely ruined my holiday.
The bed was broken, the sofa was broken, all the kitchen cupboards were hanging off their hinges and they have the cheek to say I might damage anything!!
4 days here and no cleaning, no bed change, no towel change or toilet roll change!!
We also had to take our own rubbish out to the bin on the other side of the road.
Absolutely disgusting. Avoid !!!!

What stood out the most was Larry’s friendly demeanor and his willingness to go above and beyond. Whether it was offering helpful suggestions or simply making conversation, his exceptional customer service made a lasting impression. Keep up the amazing work, Larry!

I had a wonderful experience at the Aparthotel República thanks to Lerry, our receptionist. He is a very friendly guy who helped us with every difficulty we faced during our stay in Barcelona. Lerry was always ready to offer assistance and made us feel welcome. We shared many friendly jokes with him and our group, making our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Lerry, for everything!
