The room I checked in, had a AC unit that had mold inside of it so was spreading dirty, mildewy air throughout the room to the point I got really sick. When asked to change room. The reception was helpful but told me that the AC units are going to have mold in it as if it was a normal thing.?!

When I first arrived at the hotel I literally said oh my god what have I done as it seemed miles away from the city! The key word is seemed! The hotel is close to a very quiet beach giving plenty of chill vibes! Buses to the city stop like a 20 second walk away from the hotel! Quite a few shops locally too! For convenience of getting cabs, buses, local shops and the beach the hotel is great! Cabs to the the city are around 1.2 riyals and are around 10 mins away! The hotel is quiet and clean! The staff is extremely attentive and helpful! Will choose Al Hail Waves Hotel again and again when I visit Muscat! The Main Street Sultan Al Qaboos Street is about a 20 mins walk and is filled with eateries and shops!

Abdo and Sarisa are excellent

During our stay at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Sarisa. She was incredibly friendly, always cheerful, and took the time each day for a pleasant conversation. Her warm and helpful attitude truly made us feel at home. Nothing was too much for her, always ready to help with a big smile. A real asset to the hotel!

It was a clean place, the staff were good, the breakfast was delicious with different options.
The pool and rooftop was good. It is a bit far from city center but I used tasleem taxi, the fare for any trip is around 1 to 3 Rial.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and will return again. The receptionist (s) are warm, friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and the housekeeping is always doing a good job. The location is near a market, restaurants and walking distance to beach, and somewhat close to the airport. The receptionist, Sarisa is especially kind, professional and helpful!

Bon accueil de tous les personnels. Chambre un peu tristounette, surtous car les vitres sont très sales ! La vue mer est gâchée par ces carreaux sales ! A l'accueil de gars m'a dit que c'était sale entre le double vitrage et qu'il faudrait tout changer ! Accès à la mer : il faut faire un peu de marche, car il n'y a pas de rue traversante en face l'hôtel ! L'h^tel est un peu loin de tout mais ça se voyait dès la réservation. La piscine est froide, dommage qu'elle ne soit pas un niveau plus haut sur le roof top ! Le dîner sur le toit était très bon, c'était un buffet avec des plats locaux. Petit déjeuner très bien aussi, surtout l'omelette.

Very nice receptionist upgraded us to non-smoking family suite. I can't imagine spending a night in a smoking room.
Pool was hot, but climate seemed a little unhealthy. We missed some towels.
Supermarket is nearby.

Le personnel était très sympa. Le restaurant on n'a pas utilisé c'est spécialités chinoises et Thai
Juste la salle de bien est vieille et rouillée, un matin on n'a pas eu d'eau chaude
il y a aussi une piscine
c'est à 18 km de l'aéroport mais la bas les taxis sont pas chers, il faut utiliser l'appli oman taxi

Showers very small. No room to bend or move. No water pressure for shower.

Albergo comodo per visitare la città e vicino all’aeroporto.
La camera familiare ha la vista sull’ edificio di fronte, meglio tenere le tende chiuse anche perché i vetri sono sporchissimi. Rumorosa di notte per via appunto dei motori dell aria condizionata.
Piscina con tetto aperto solo sullo specchio d’acqua, per il resto chiusa, senza possibilità di prendere sole. Inutile.
Tutto sommato almeno la stanza era pulita e abbastanza spaziosa x 3 persone.
