Rising Dragon Villa Hotel

We LOOOVED Rising Dragon Villa Hotel. It was recommended by a friend that LOOOVED IT and now I will definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Hanoi. The service was excellent. The staff was very, very accommodating.

We stayed at the rising dragon for 4 nights and the staff were excellent. They gave us a room on a higher floor upon request to reduce noise and it was so quiet! They also gave lots of info for tours and how to get to Ha Long Bay. They allowed us to store our large bags there while we went on a 2 day trip to Ha Long Bay. The location is close to everything in old town and make walking feasible to the outdoor sites as well. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, AC was great, and shower was nice too.

Great Hotel, good location for walking to local attractions and food. Quick and efficient check-in. Helpful and very friendly staff. Good breakfast that was included.
Clean room with ample space for three people.
Spent three nights in city with two nights at other hotel and only one here, should have stayed all nights here .

Staff were awesome, good location, clean. A little run down but ok. Just that room DOES NOT look like pictures. Darker and different furnitures. Still okay just not as expected

Excellent location. Shower is very good! Toilet is very good. Beds are firm but comfortable. Reception staff are amazing!!!! Very very helpful. Nothing to complain about here. This hotel is great. Remember it's not 5 star so don't expect it to be.

Fantastic hotel staff. Couldn't do more for you, very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend the hotel for location, organised trips and just making you feel welcome.

The neighbourhood is old town. You could watch the business of common people.

We had a nice stay here.....the first night we stayed wasnt so good...we had no hot water and the bed was hard and traffic noise bad....we went on a cruise and used rising dragon when we got back for 1 night....the room was on 4th floor and really much better...it was comfortable not so tired looking and we were very pleased. Staff were great.

There are many hotels that look exactly like this hotel in the old quarter. The staff at this one were very friendly and efficient in everything they did. We chose a room on the street side and had one on the 6th floor, so the street noise was not bad. The room was clean and very tidy and everything worked. The breakfast was good, with many options to choose from.

Excellent hotel for the price. Really good buffet breakfast. The staff were really helpful. Nice bedding. I would definitely stay at the Rising Dragon if I came back to Hanoi.

Hot water stop suddenly while I was taking bath, though they arrange another room for me the other day, it was a real ordeal. My room is on the sixth floor.

From the day that we arrive at the hotel, the staffs made me feel at home. They were all very friendly and very helpful. The location is good and right at the heart of the old quarters and walking distance to the night market which is only from Friday to Sunday. The room is just the right size for a single occupant.

We booked woth them train tickets to sapa, it worked out great and was at a good price. we stayed another night and booked a day tour to ha long bay and it was very good! really great service! best service for the man with the glasses at the reception, very nice and very usefull.
only not as good thing, the second night they gave us a room on the first floor, there was some noise from the reception that made it hard to sleep.

The hotel was right in the middle of the old quarter, it was fantastic being right in the middle of everything.
The hotel itself is nice but its the staff who go out of their way for you that makes it a good stay.
They were doing renovations one day and the smell of the paint was overwhelming…no problem we will move you to another hotel.
We were then going to Hoi Ann and we asked them if they could recommend a hotel. They did it was one of their other hotels and when we arrived we were upgraded to a fantastic room. Staff again were awesome. Breakfast was really good too!

I really recommend this hotel, good value.

Staff were amazing. I took ill one day possibly because of the street food. The staff were so nice and looked after me. Made sure the maids didn't bother me and when I went to the pharmacy they made sure by the time I got back the room had been sorted

Hotel is pretty small, breakfast no much selections.

Great location, staff and breakfast at very good price.
