We decided to go to Merauke to visit Wasur National Park for a few days to enjoy the activities we had read about online and in the main tourist guides. Once we got there, we discovered that it was all fake news, or not current, as there are no tour operators or travel agencies in Merauke that even organize a simple visit to the park. Nency of the Swiss Belhotel organized everything for us, ensuring that what seemed like ahorrendous travel experience turn into awonderful vacation and wonderful memories. A special thanks to Nancy and all the staff at the Swiss Belhotel in Merauke for your exquisite welcome and friendly availability, helpfulness, courtesy, and professionalism. Top marks with laude for everything!!
The cuisine is also excellent!
Breakfast is so so. The options are too many, but the taste is 6 out of 10. We tried Angkringan for dinner. The portion is soooo big, but taste is so so (6 out of 10). The plates, glasses and cutleries are sometimes not so sparklingly clean. I also watched some customers checking out the plates, glasses and cutleries before using them.
The free wifi is almost non existent. I almost could never use it. It's so slowly embarassing. I had to buy Telkomsel data to watch Netflix our download my message.

Location and Hotel is good
I really liked the hotel and staff, however the cleaning services wasn't the best. I had used their laundry service and my shirt got stained somehow and they didn't properly clean my sons shirt. I also noticed that when they cleaned my room that they rarely changed the bedding and just reused the same sheet and blanket.
First I was offered a smoking room while I requested for a non-smoking room in my order few days before check-in date. As I requested for a room that meet my request, eventually they upgraded my room. Thank you.
A smart/android TV would be great for home entertainment.
Ein Hotel das mit europäischen Standards nicht mithalten kann. Nach Wasserschaden in der Klimaanlage und nicht funktionierender Toilette Umzug in ein kleineres Zimmer natürlich zum gleichen Preis (downgrade). Die Speisekarte ist voll , der Vorratsraum der Küche leider nicht. Bier steht auch drauf aber nicht vorrätig. Personal super freundlich!

Hot water was not function in my room although I moved to another room, it was same problem. Because I usually shower with hot water in our home..

Hotel condition and quality is getting worse..the reception guy call at 6.am asking for how i would pay for the drink a night before..do you think we want to runaway for 2 bottle of beer?
