Stop over in Sofia
Pros:

Lovely family run boutique style hotel..Very close to central bus station..As a single traveller I felt very safe..Excellent Bulgarian restaurant close by..Bedroom was large with tea coffee facilities..and it had a nice balcony..served very tasty self service breakfast..

Cons:

Almost nothing. Walls are not soundproof but it was very quiet after 11pm...

It was close to where we needed to be

Cons:

Carpets, furniture needs replacing in rooms, breakfast needs a big improvement. Hot food should be hot not cold.
