Le calme des lieux, le restaurant
The staff are superb, friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food, albeit very slow, is generally very good. Breakfast is basic but adequate. The building is beautiful and especially at night it is well lit and pretty.
This is not a 4 star hotel, regardless of advertising, it hits 3 at best. There are many things that if done better would lift the experience:
The filter at the pool is very loud and ‘sucks’ all day long leaving the guest feeling unrelaxed.
The room we had was a triple with beautiful high ceilings. However the soundproofing to the room next door was almost non existent- we could hear their tv as if it were in our room.
The air con was insufficient. We had two units, only one worked and did not cool the room down sufficiently. You have to ask the front desk to change the temperature and that wasn’t enough. Being too warm is not comfortable.
Whilst the beds looked fine, they were not comfortable and we were very stiff each day as a result. That may be just us, but, irrespective, it shouldn’t happen if the beds and pillows were good enough.
The bathrooms (we had two) were dated and lacking finesse.
Overall, apart from the lovely staff, our stay was disappointing and could easily be so much better with some careful changes.

Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil, son professionnalisme et son attention tout au long de notre séjour. Que ce soit à la réception, au petit-déjeuner, à la piscine ou au restaurant, tout le monde était adorable

Ci siamo stati solo due giorni e abbiamo trovato tutto molto in ordine, pulito, servizio impeccabile.
La piscina è la chicca di questo posto, la colazione purtroppo l’abbiamo sempre fatta dentro a causa delle api ma d’altronde non ci si può fare niente, il mondo è anche loro ed è normale che vadano dove c’è cibo e acqua.
Ottimo il servizio della colazione, buona, varia, e prodotti di buona qualità. Il ragazzo della caffetteria è in gambissima!
Alcamo è una bella cittadina tranquilla, abbiamo dormito bene.
Se devo trovare un difetto, mancava la terrazza, d’estate è difficile far asciugare le cose senza un terrazzino. Altra cosa la salita per raggiungere il parcheggio più vicino all’ingresso è un po’ complicata😅

It was a comfortable stay. Hotel restaurant set menus are presented beautifully and is good value for money. The swimming pool was spotless - there were plenty of sun loungers with a great view towards the sea.
Very minor but the air conditioner temperature was fixed but the staff are happy to adjust it to your preference.

La vue et la piscine était très agréable. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Possibilité de manger à la piscine directement est très appréciable.
Certains murs sont tellement fin que l’on entend tout ce qui se passe chez le voisin. La salle de bain était très vieille, mauvaise odeur dans les conduites et fourmis la dernière nuit. L hôtel était complet donc soit on aspergeait de bombe anti fourmis et dormait avec le gaz soit on dormait avec les fourmis…..
