Great location and very comfortable.
Pros:

An excellent location for both Gare du Nord and Gard d'Est. Situated in a remarkably quiet street which was a bonus - as you would expect from a city hotel the room is fairly small (quite big enough) and hence it was good to be able to sleep with the window open. The hotel has a good brasserie attached where we ate. The revitalised canal area is within a few minutes walk with bars and restaurants.

Lovely little hotel - a gem!
Pros:

Beautiful and very quaint little hotel. Stylish and perfect for our break in Paris. Good location.

Cons:

No lift but it is a very old building so that made our trip more authentic. And staff helped us with luggage.

Vroeger was het restaurant beter. (2019) Maar dat is misschien persoonlijk.

Ideal für einen Kurzurlaub im Osten von Paris
Pros:

Die Einrichtung ist sehr indivuduell und geschmackvoll mit den alten Möbeln.
Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und appetitlich angerichtet, vde Brotsorten, frisches Obst, Eier, Blinis, Lachs, Käse vom Stück, vde Schinken, Rohwurst, Yoghurt, Marmeladen, Nutella. Es wurde immer nachgelegt.
Die Lage war 1a, Nah an der Metro und dem Gare de l'Est. Wir waren 4 Nächte und haben nur 1mal die Metro für den Rückweg vom Pantheon benutzt. Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße gegenüber einer Schule, es ist also ruhig.
Das Restaurant im Hotel ist gut, in der Nähe gibt es auch zahlreiche andere Restaurants.
Und das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich, man merkt dass das Hotel ein Familienbetrieb ist.
Positiv ist auch. dass Wasser immer an der Rezeption kostenlos zu haben ist.

Cons:

Auszusetzen haben wir nur die Heizung. Wir schlafen gerne bei geöffnetem Fenster, aber leider springt dann das Thermostat der Heizung an und es wird dann noch wärmer im Zimmer.

Die Lage und das Personal sind wirklich top. Das Personal war wirklich hilfsbereit, sehr freundlich und immer präsent. Gerade wenn man mit dem Zug anreist, ist die Lage unschlagbar und man ist gleich mittendrin. Und das Hotel hat einen besonderen französischen Charme. Sehr empfehlenswert

Cons:

Nur für Menschen mit einer Gehbeeinträchtigung aufgrund Treppen eher ungeeignet.
