An embarrassment to the Wyndham name
Pros:

I booked this room because it was 19 minutes from Bristol Renaissance Fair in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and the hotel had a pool and hot tub (essential after a long day of walking around on uneven terrain). That's all this place had going for it.

When I walked into my room I had instant regrets. There was a band-aid over the peephole, the deadbolt was loose, the light-switch to the bathroom was loose and hanging crooked. One of the bath towels had a rip, the towel bar was missing on the rack, the toilet paper holder was missing the bar, the freezer hadn't been defrosted in so long that the door couldn't close completely and the unit ran all day and night. There was a huge rip in one of the sheer curtains behind the blackout curtains (probably 3" x 12"), and of the four lamps in the room only three had a light bulb - the two on either side of the bed had one each, and the floor lamp had a bulb but the socket was so loose that when I turned it on the whole thing wobbled and the bulb flickered. The desk lamp didn't have any bulbs at all.

But the worst thing about the room was the fact that the outlet behind the bedside table that both the desk lamp and bedside lamp were plugged into was falling out of the wall, dangling by the wires.

The bed felt like sleeping on a box-spring and sagged in the middle. The sheets were coarse and uncomfortable. The hallway had a peculiar odor (I heard someone outside my door say it was marijuana) and there were cigarette butts all over the sidewalk by the backdoor. My key card didn't work for the backdoor, and since my room was at the end of the hall I had to walk all the way to the front door and then all the way down the hall whenever I had to go to my car. Saturday night I heard someone outside my door drunkenly saying "Where's my room!?" and the people in the room next to mine spent all Friday night shouting at and arguing with each other, and had their TV up so loud I heard it all night.

I mentioned my concerns about the outlet and light bulbs to the front desk clerk when I headed out Saturday morning. When I got back that evening the bulbs had been replaced and one bedside lamp and the desk lamp were on. However, when I got back from using the pool room the desk lamp was out again and wouldn't turn back on. The outlet was still dangling.

The end of the hairdryer had a chunk missing, there were random pieces of Scotch tape on the wall next to the sink, a hole in the wall under the sink, and a large dent in the bathroom door.

I paid $135 for a single occupancy king non-smoking room for two nights, and ended up with a room more suited to a flophouse than the Wyndham chain. After I posted on Facebook about my experience a friend of mine cancelled the room she'd booked for herself and her teenage daughter for an upcoming ice skating camp, and got a room in a better hotel. I don't blame her.

Won't go back
Pros:

I like that when I asked to change my bedding because it was dirty they did. Front desk was very polite.

Cons:

When entering the room I noticed food crumbs on my bed and. Big orange stain on the white blanket on the side. The TV was dusty and alarm clock dusty and spits on the mirror. They did send some one to come change and clean what I pointed out. When leaving and I was looking for anything that I might of dropped or left behind, I noticed on the floor by both beds and close to the bed a bunch of popcorn kernels and other crumbs. I did not eat anything in the room. That told me that my room was not cleaned and I was upset but paid 178. A night and was not going to be refunded so I stayed.

I’m 81 years old. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. They refused to reduce the room rate when I complai
Pros:

Property looked ok from the street.

Cons:

Rear security rear door was not functioning. It was duct taped so anyone could just push the door open.
Then to my room. The smell of the room was a heavy masking spray used to mask a stinky smokers room.
The carpet was a total embarrassment.
Stains and just looked filthy.
There was black mold everywhere in the bathroom.
There was a chair in the room with a couple of large holes and the batting was coming out.
After complaining they said that they’d see if another room was available. I booked the room so I could attend a party.
No one ever came to show me another room. This room was a disgrace.
You need to end your relationship with these people.
