We booked a last minute trip to Birmingham to visit family and we require a cot for our 6 month old.
Before booking I called the hotel to see if a cot is available which they said yes. They also said when booking to include this request on the booking, which I did.
Secondly, once booked I called the hotel to confirm they have my request for a cot which I was then told yes it will be ready when I arrive.
Thirdly, after spending a long day with family we checked in very late to the hotel. On the desk again I asked do we have a cot in the room which I was then told yes.
Up to the 16th floor we go with our baby.. and I walk into a room with a sofa bed pulled out? No cot.
I called the reception…. For ages… no response. I had to leave my husband and baby and go allll tne way back down to then tell them there’s no cot. It’s now 1am by the way.
I had to wait for someone to come.. and watch them painfully put the cot together.
As you can see on several occasions I called to make sure we have a cot for our baby and each time I was lied to.
I expected far better from Hilton to be honest.
I won’t be staying at another one anytime soon.. premier inn is far better!

Hotel furnishings and decoration a little bit "tired".
Convenient to reach by public transport, with well-functioning A/C. However, breakfast could be more impressive for a hotel in this chain. Overall, the hotel is decent and pretty standard for its category.
The hotel’s entrance isn’t very convenient or appealing, but that’s just how it is. The rooms are smaller compared to other hotels in the chain, and even though there are three working lifts, it can sometimes take ages to go up or down.

The staff was great, I had a couple problems they understand I have hidden disability, one night nightclub next door explained that I autistic moved into another room nice experience very pleasant
Just the food for breakfast
Everything was easy good location and very clean- all the stuff were nice in the breakfast on the morning fire alarms went off we had to vehicle to the property. There was an Iranian lady serving the tables a humble polite perfect lady she tried her best to make our breakfast great
