Excellent location, value for money
Pros:

The beds were really comfortable and I liked my room overall. Location of hotel was excellent, as well as availability of shops over the road and my gym too. I also liked that my room was cleaned every day which i wasn't expecting, so that I could get into freshly made bed each night! (I couldn't make the bed look as nice as they do). Also the staff at breakfast was so kind and accommodating and my check with the staff when I arrived was great too.

Cons:

The only thing was the blinds in my room were broken so they remained down the whole time. I had to use the bin the prop open the blinds just to get some natural light into the room. But it wasn't a deal breaker, just an inconvenience.

Comfortable but staff not very professional
Pros:

It was in a good location and the rooms were really modern with good facilities

Cons:

I had asked for a high room and a quiet area
I settled down for the night and noticed a lot of noise coming from an adjoining door which I wasn’t aware of.
People from the adjoining room could access my room if open.I reported to reception but were not apologetic whatsoever! They said that they’d stayed in one before and shouldn’t be a problem! I was moved but not handled very professionally!

Pros:

The hotel was clean and the room was well presented with the expected facilities. It was good to have on site parking at a good price.

Cons:

The blind at the window was broken, so we were unable to raise it.
The breakfast was disappointing. There was a fairly good selection of cereal. However, there were no vegetarian sausages my friend is vegan, and no cooked tomatoes. Only beans, which I don't eat. The scrambled egg was cold, although the bacon was nice.

Ups after Downs
Pros:

The included breakfast was exceptional value. The room was fine, my only quibble being the heavy slide door for the bathroom. I think it should have been noted that there was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I would have appreciated decaffeinated tea and coffee.

Cons:

A day or so before I arrived I realised that I'd cocked up the booking by choosing a room with a double bed. As I was staying with my son, I telephoned to try and change the booking, but I was told the systems were down. The next day I spoke to someone who said no change could be made, so I asked to book another room. I was informed that there were no rooms available either singles or twins, or even another double and any bookings had to be made via Booking.com. I could only presume there was some misunderstanding taking place, so I gave up. BUT when I arrived at the hotel to check in, I mentioned my mistake and QUICK AS A FLASH Ken said I could change, did I want to to and it was DONE. Just like that. Well done Ken, and thank you so much. EXCELLENT.
You should say in information and details that it is Five Ways, cos that station is nearer than New Street Station.
