Categories

Cleanliness
7.8
Generally reported as clean and spacious in multiple reviews, with specific positives (rooms described as 'impeccably clean') but isolated issues noted such as a stained bath and some dated areas.
Service
9.3
Strong positive sentiment: multiple mentions of very friendly, helpful staff and exceptional individual service (e.g., Waitress Basani, receptionist Ian); staff frequently went the extra mile.
Location
7.6
Location is convenient and easy to find (good for Kruger stopovers), but a few guests noted visibility from outside and a roadside positioning — generally positive but not exceptional.
Room Quality
6.6
Mixed: some rooms recently refurbished with comfortable beds, but several recurring issues (blurry TV/signal, low shower pressure, unstable chair, lack of privacy in some rooms) reduce the rating.
Amenities
6.4
Amenities received weaker scores due to TV channel/clarity problems, lack of streaming (Netflix/YouTube), unavailable iron on request, occasional missing small items (glass), and limited on-site activities.
Value for Money
9
Multiple reviews explicitly call out great value for money and good cost with breakfast; guests felt the stay offered strong value relative to price.
Food and Beverage
9
Very positive: food and especially breakfast repeatedly praised as exceptional and varied; a small complaint about cappuccino not being included in breakfast for some guests.
Overall Experience
9.1
Overall sentiment is highly positive: many 'excellent' and 'great stay' comments, strong staff interactions and enjoyable meals, tempered by some room/amenity issues.

We had a lovely time
Pros:

Good service and the food was fresh and delicious.

Cons:

The room has a funny and stuffy odour. I really recommend some form of air freshening.

The facilities in the rooms need to be upgraded like the shower and toilets. They are too outdated.
