Location
We will be suing the hotel for a refund and damages due to loud music playing from a staff apartment above our room which played all night until we left at 7am. We called police and have incident number. Police were surprised there was no night porter or security to address our issues. The hotel bteached our contract and failed to deliver services. We have not had time to take up with hotel as when we left only a kitchen assistant was present. We suspect this hotel is operating in breach of its license and should be removed from booking.com. We would not recommend it and reserve all rights in this matter and will be seeking full refund and damages.
The rooms had such a thin walls so that you could hear everthing, showering, toilet, talking, literary everything.
And infront of our room staff had a smoke all the time.
Clean and spacious. Lovely Breakfast
Everything fine
Excellent food and our request for sandwiches was honoured. Breakfast very good.
The first room was freezing as the heating didnt work properly. We were offered another room which was fine for heating. However the shower didnt work properly.
The door lock to Damask is a self locking door as opposed to the other out house rooms i.e Wild Rose ,China Rose as I found out the hard way when leaving the room at 03.00am to collect something from my car without taking key as I assumed it was like all other rooms where you physically lock the lock from the outside unlike Damask ,the door closed therefore only alternative was to slleep 3hrs in my car awaitimg morning staff to arrive and let me into my room
Convenient yo visit parents in Ashington
Had to change room" Danask' as heating would not turn down.
Second room 'number1' nice room but bathroom heater again did not turn off. Made room so hot and stuffy.
Very comfortable
Helpful staff, good location.
Needs updating, general maintenance required.
The rooms were so lovely and surpassed our expectations. The staff that check us in and also the staff the following day that looked after us for breakfast made a visit so special.
