Absolutely the Worst
Pros:

Absolutely Everything was complete nonsense i absolutely felt the vibe wayyyy off the unknowledgeable receptionist lady's and guys all gave weird faces plenty of eye rolling when we would ask questions about anything or talk so softly. Anyhow I had made a reservation via the phone and omg the day that i arrived which was Sunday September 1st around noon immediately wanted to charge me 3 times more than what they had mentioned to me. I do not recommend absolutely anyone to stay at this hotel. I had the worst experience ever never going there again. you all need to replace with customer service highly qualified superior customer service.

Pros:

My reservation was for 2 adults and a 14 year old minor, but at the time of the reservation the receptionist stated that the minor was supposed to be a 1 year old infant so therefore they charged almost 1800 pesos more.

Disappointing
Pros:

Booked this for 14 days but realized our mistake after one day, our room was filthy and we had to go out the next day for cleaning supplies to sanitize the whole area. We took this up with the front and were offered other rooms, however, we had sanitized the room to our liking and were NOT doing it again. Lounges and umbrellas around the pool were black and covered with bird droppings . No internet in room so we had to go to the pool to get Internet. Bed was like a rock , Balcony door did not lock and main lock was from the seventies with a chain. Open air kitchen with some potted plants to separate the neighbours table from your table and we each got to stare at each other. We ending up putting our umbrella on its side to give us some privacy. Nothing to light our gas stove with and no hot water. Bought some pinesol to spray clean our counters because the birds were welcome to come in and leave their calling cards.
We tried to get our money returned after three days of trying to adapt but the management said no way, no refund. So we made the best of and roughed out the last 11 days. This property is VERY LOUD and if you are going for R&R, this is not the place for you.
The staff were lovely and there are no complaints about them. We have been to Mexico, over twenty years and this was the most disappointing trip we have ever made. First time we were excited to be leaving our vacation. I think you can probably do a 2/3 day but the rest was spent out of the resort. These pictures are accurate, and sincere. I wish this property well, but they need to clean up their acts.

Pros:

Very disappointed in this resort, we arrived late and we were shown to our room , we were very uncomfortable with the open kitchen and open space with our neighbour. We went to a grocer the next morning and throughly cleaned our place. It was very gross, but we decided to stick it out for 3 days. By day three we were ready to leave and find a better resort that suited our comfort zone. Unfortunately they would not give us a refund and though they did try to give us another room , we decided to stay put because we had cleaned the room and didn’t want to clean another. So we made the best of an extremely uncomfortable situation. The only internet was by the pool and lobby, we had been told it would be in our room the next day, never saw it,haha . Our bed was so hard, my wife had to put towels down to soften the mattress so she could sleep. No matches for our gas stove, and no hot water in the kitchen, it was so bad it was funny. The birds had free range to visit and leave calling cards. Pool was nice except for the dirty lounges and bird poop on the back of the lounges. The umbrellas were nicely decorated with the bird droppings also, nice to look at when you are relaxing. Every chair and couch were uncomfortable. Because the kitchens were open, it was very, very loud. Found popcorn kernels under the bed and a discarded plastic cup under the shelf in the kitchen. The resort looked nice in the pictures and the people working there were lovely. Never so happy to leave a holiday.

I came to walk along the beach of course, but the best of the best were the helpful staff.
Pros:

The breakfast buffet was good, but since it wasn't free, I ate breakfast elsewhere 2 of the 4 days.

Cons:

The signs saying we weren't allowed to hang our wet bathing suits on the railing. = )

Pros:

The beach here was great. There was lots of action, vendors, restaurants.
Within the hotel, I really enjoyed the Mexican families, and how happy the children were playing with their siblings and parents.
The staff were ver friendly and helpful.

Captain's is a wonderful location, about 45 min north of PV's airport
Pros:

Property is nice but I think it’s Overpriced. Can’t enjoy the beach because is overcrowded and loud music playing. No parking on property.

Pros:

Excellent hotel support staff, specially parking staff were friendly. Front desk staff needs more customer service training, not friendly, always in a hurry, not accommodating. Hotels needs bell boys or at least luggage carts. Pools were clean, perhaps extending hours to 10 pm instead of 8pm. Great location, easy beach access, close to shopping and boat trip to Isla del Coral.

Pros:

Ancient rooms , pool chairs full of bird poop. Family woke up with what looked like bed bug bites. Told office about the bed bugs they said some people are more prone to it. Asked for a discount they said no.

Pros:

Our stay was amazing but their system was down and I wasn't able to pay with my debit card . I had to pay out of pocket which I wasn't expecting. The staff wasn't much help at providing information regarding the other payment options. Other then that it was a pleasant experience !
