Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia by IHG

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco! We live in Philly and stayed here for a Valentine’s Day staycation. The hotel is beautifully decorated with tons of unique artwork. The staff is very friendly and the daily wine hour is a great way to relax in the lobby after exploring the city.

The hotel is also in one of the best locations in Philly, whether you’re visiting for the first time or the 100th! There’s tons of history around it, as it’s right across from Independence Hall. There are also so many great bars and restaurants within close walking distance. Highly recommend staying here!

I had a lovely upgraded room. The location is great! Walked to a nice restaurant for lunch, Fork. It’s also right across the street from the liberty bell. The restaurant was closed and there’s no coffee machine or mini bar in the room, which was unique. Would definitely stay again next time in Philly.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for my birthday / Valentine's Day and it was absolutely amazing! Huge shoutout to the concierge Roshid for making our stay so magical! Between all the amenities and complimentary upgrades, he truly made this a memorable stay for us both!

While this was not our first visit to the Kimpton Monaco, it was our first in a while and it did not disappoint! The rooms have been beautifully remodeled and everything just feels really thoughtfully done. There is refurbishment of the Red Owl Tavern and fitness center currently, but they are still serving Red Owl breakfast and lunch/dinner in different areas of the hotel. The wine reception from 5-6 was a treat as always -- just a fun community activity that the Kimpton does well. We were upgraded due to our Diamond Elite status to a gorgeous King Corner Spa room overlooking Independence Hall. This was just another example of the special touches Kimpton is known for. However, the real MVP is Roshid, the concierge. He helped us arrange a late checkout and answered some questions about breakfast, and the genuine, friendly conversation we had was such a treat! He loves Spider-Man and made sure to give us some stickers to surprise our son, a fellow Spidey enthusiast. Roshid is just a phenomenal ambassador for the Kimpton Monaco and to us a prime example of why we love IHG/Kimpton Hotels. We can't wait for our next visit, but are so appreciative of the team who made our overnight stay such a great one!

Rashide aka Spider-Man was an incredible help with last minute dinner reservations. His personality has made our stay here amazing(just like Spidey). His enthusiasm is contagious. Keep this man at all costs!!!!!!

This was my 4th stay and the Hotel Monaco and it’s always been fabulous. The rooms are stylish and luxurious with dangerously comfortable beds.

The staff is second to none. Everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful - especially Spider-Man :)

A lovely hotel in a central location. Beautiful decor, decorated well. Comfortable and elegant atmosphere. Concierge Rashid went above and beyond, and made our trip that much more special. Go Bills!

My friend and I stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco this past weekend, and we were so impressed with our stay. We have stayed at the Palomar before, as well as other hotels in Philadelphia (The Logan, The Sofitel), but this was our favorite experience so far. We wanted to go to a specific restaurant in the area and yours was the closest hotel. I had never experienced it before. The way you decorate your hotel is so quaint and charming and UNIQUE.

The staff were BEYOND impressive, from the front desk to the servers at the rooftop bar to the downstairs manager for breakfast. I didn't meet one person who was not incredibly friendly and accommodating. When we ate and drank at the rooftop bar, the manager must have checked on us like three times. By the way, the food there was delicious.

The little handwritten note in the room and other little details (like the adorable wallpaper in the bathroom) really made a difference. I loved the main lobby and all the cool areas to sit and relax. It wasn't a crowded hotel, and that made the experience more intimate and enjoyable.

Even though we live in the Philadelphia area, we like spending time in the city and will definitely be back at your hotel in the future.

Love this hotel. Beautifullu decorated, rooms are so clean and spacious. Valet is great to have and reasonable. Location is great here. very walkable to historical sights and bars/restaurants/ things you do. Their txt service is also a really great touch - perfect hospitality. I texted them at 10:30pm asking for a fan for the room and someone was knocking on my door with one within 5 mins. Can’t wait to return here in thr summer and get to check out the rooftop bar!

My wife and I went for our anniversary; accompanied by our furry friend.
We were pleasantly surprised to walk in to a gift basket which included snacks, waters, wine & a free breakfast!
Everyone was so polite, the room was magnificent, and the food incredible.
We stayed here after our wedding four years ago and I’m happy to say it only has improved. Highly recommend!

They may be doing some renovations, but, rest assured they’ve thought of everything!
Rashid and Missy are top notch. Great, quiet location with wonderful staff!

Logan was awesome, assisted us a ton with settling in and made our experience checking in phenomenal!

Why earlier? Let me share with you; it’s like you are home. Friendly and professional team, no matter how cold is outside. Happy hour for 🍷 or 🍏 cider. Brings joy and warmth!

Visited Philadelphia for a Wedding. Arrived early and our room was ready. Room was
spacious with a great view. Wonderful Location. Lovely 2 night stay. Felt very safe and comfortable. Always enjoy staying at a Kimpton Hotel. Would stay again once the updated Red Owl restaurant is open again.
