Pros:

Spotlessly clean and comfortable room.
Excellent shower.
Excellent welcoming and friendly/kind staff.
The train station transfers were excellent.

Cons:

There could be a kettle in the room. Apart from that it was a brilliant stay. We will definitely recommend.

I liked that the suite was spacious and relatively newly renovated.

Cons:

The hotel had a pervasive deep-fryer/kitchen smell in the common areas, though fortunately the room itself was not affected.

The breakfast room was chaotic. The food pickup area was far too small and poorly organized, with guests pushing into each other. One woman spilled juice on me and ran off, and no staff member offered any help; one even laughed.

In addition, only one elevator was in operation, which created a bottleneck.

Pros:

Colazione ottima, frutta e pane fresco, ben fornita sia sul dolce che sul salato. Camere ampie e pulite, doccia top. Mancava il bidè ma ce lo aspettavamo. Zona wellness ben attrezzata.

Cons:

Le camere non hanno il telefono quindi se hai bisogno di qualcosa devi per forza scendere. Avrei preferito la macchinetta del caffè in camera, soprattutto perché mancava il telefono quindi non avevo la possibilità del servizio in camera. Inoltre é successo un episodio spiacevole: chiedo alla Reception alle ore 15 un caffè da portare in camera e mi viene detto che il bar era chiuso a quell'ora e sarei dovuta andare al locale di fronte. Mi reco quindi di fronte ma la cameriera mi dice che non fanno asporto. In conclusione, non bevo il mio caffè. Mi stupisce perché avendo pagato 700 euro di camera mi aspetto che in qualche modo il personale tenta di accontentarmi. In Italia ci saremmo fatti in 4 pur di soddisfare il cliente.

Cons:

Im Zimmer 323 ist es sehr laut. Von oben sind starke Geräusche hörbar. Kann es sein das der Fitnessraum darüber liegt?

Wunderschönes Hotel mit Elementen der Bel Epoche. Würde wünschen, es hiesse wieder Hotel Pontresina
Pros:

Lage: Besser geht nicht! Zimmer: Hatte günstigstes Angebot, da kann man nicht Vollausstattung mit Kaffeebar, Minibar erwarten. War aber gemütlich. Frühstück: Bestens! Besonders schön ist das originalgetreu erhaltene Jugendstil-Treppenhaus und die eindrucksvollen schönen alten Fotos zum Thema Sport. Sehr passend.

Cons:

Es war alles ok.. Über Geschmack lässt sich streiten. Das Restaurant mit dem Orientteppich und der Beleuchtung war jetzt für mich nicht ganz optimal. Obschon die farbigen Leuchter lustig sind. Auch die überdimensionierten Lampen im Lobby-, Bar- und Esssaalbereich strahlen für mich nicht unbedingt eine gemütliche Ambiance eines traditionellen Hotels in den Engadiner Bergen aus. Ich liebe halt eine ehrer rustikalere Gemütlichkeit.

The best location & reasonable hotel @ Pontresina
Pros:

Excellent service, good selection of breakfast, especially bread & cheese. Clean & comfortable room. Complementary van service to/from the train station. the Mountain Railways Included Pass @ Engadine was very useful.

Cons:

The sport bar can be very busy, not enough staffs at the bar.
