Young girl that checked us in was lovely

Cons:

Photos online add a filter to make it look better but it’s a 70s motel with dirty floors and old bathrooms - needs a major refurb. Paper thin walls, could hear noise all night so couldn’t sleep. Cockroach in the bathroom. No room amenities. Incredibly overpriced for what it is, I wouldn’t even stay here for free 👍🏻

Loved the place, reception is really lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again
Pros:

Hotel is super funky, vintage art everywhere and just overall a great vibe. Only a short walk to the beach

Cons:

The hallways echo a lot, and the cleaners were talking loudly - yelling down the hall to each other about weekend plans - most mornings very early. I mentioned it to reception to follow up

Pros:

Bathroom dingy fir the price, carpets old & need replacing. Overpriced for what you get. Standard is of cheap backpackers.

Cons:

Bathroom poky and dingy. No exhaust fan, tiles grotty.

The room smelt like bleach and made us feel bit not good ,also bed not that comfortable for us and there was this noise that kept us up during the 1st night and again the second night but stopped later in the evening.Room is a little tired and could do with some treatment.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Room 403, I understand you want that 70s vibe but when everything is actually from the 70s wow. Air con was so loud you couldn’t hear the tv. Only 1 power point. Shower too small, when you run the taps in the basin the water fell on the soap holder and not in the sink. Walls paper thin you could hear people on the ground floor talking, neighbors using there toilet, people stomping around in other rooms and hallways. You get whiplash from the elevator when it stops. No guidance from staff just had to guess where your room was when given your key. Parked in gated area but gates were left open all night anyway so no vehicle security. They offer free drink on arrival that didn’t happen and free late check out but we were told it would cost us $30 per hour for late check out.

Value for money with a nostalgic vibe
Pros:

It is basic but comfy. The bar and pool area is fun and welcoming. Like a little beach club.

Cons:

Needs some renovations it feels like you’ve stepped back in time. Couldn’t say I didn’t like it but was surprised at the 70’s vibe.
