Location and parking good.

Cons:

Rooms especially bathrooms were tired and small compared to avaliable space in unit. Would have rared as a 2 star in Europe. No hair dryer and shower leaked into space in front of toilet. Also lights cut out. Lighting overall poor. Sadly seen better days.

Appreciated the clean room.
Pros:

The room was old style, but cleaned very well.
No aromas or odours …Thank you. I have allergy to perfumes and the room was cleaned well. Thank you !!

Cons:

The noise from adjoining rooms. Room walls seem paper thin and voices and general movement could be heard and disturbed when trying to sleep.

The heating wasn`t working in my room, I ended up wearing my jacket to sleep. And the Balcony door was whistling very loud at night by the wind.

Very, very overpriced stay in a totally dated hotel
Pros:

The coffee & toasties were delicious in the bar. The easy parking on site was good. Comfortable beds & spacious rooms.
Loved the memorabilia and history in the bar area.
The girls on reception were lovely and friendly.

Cons:

No plugs in the room to plug in phone chargers / iPads / radio etc?? It’s 2026 - everyone needs plugs to charge up these days.
Minimal lighting making the rooms very dark.
Carpets are stained and dirty - they need replacing or cleaning to ensure no stains etc.
For the exorbitant price paid - this was shocking for what we got.
They had warned us about the music and it was loud but we had taken ear plugs. It was ok.
The man on reception sullen and rude.
