Hanoi E Central Hotel

Huge differnce in price that the hotel charges if you go there in person vs if i book through Expedia..almost 2x more expensive through expedia !!!

Great location. Many dining options nearby. Helpful, professional and courteous hotel staff. Hotel breakfast buffet needs improvements.

Good location…fairly quiet street; can get to central part of old town with 5-6 minute walk. Staff is friendly and helpful. Older hotel but overall clean.
You can exchange dollars to VND no charge. Just let front desk know ahead of time to ensure they have VND available.

Great staff, neighborhood a bit loud but that is Asia. A good value hotel ...not a hostel, not the Metropol.

Good location, walkable to any tour spots, a lot of restaurants around, hotel provided a list of Vietnamese food in English and Vietnamese name, so I could understand what to order when I went out; free storage suitcase, free breakfast

You can be assured of her warm and genuine smile and will put, any weary Traveller at ease. Her remarkable peoples, touch is infectious and the happiness from everyone staying there shows. We would definitely recommend, anyone coming to Hanoi to experience this centrally located hotel. You would be spoilt for choice. Food to clothings to souvenirs are lined along every street you walk. This small hotel was our Hanoi home away from home, off and on, for 2 weeks. Excellent location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, just outside the main tourist section. Close to the lake, shops, and restaurants. Clean and quiet, with a nice breakfast. The staff was excellent - whether for booking tours, tickets, limousines and Grab rides, or re-arranging our scheduled stay - and after various excursions out of town we were welcomed back as old friends. Hanoi E Central is one of the reasons we'll carry fond memories of our visit to Viet Nam back home. Thanks to Lily and all the rest of the hotel staff!

Hotel is definitely 2 stars. not 4 stars. Room and lobby smells of sewage.

This review is all about the service and not the hotel as much. We were originally scheduled to stay here but because of eVisa delays due to Tet we were unable to make our original trip work. However Mai was able to walk us through the changing schedule and helped us rebook our transfers and food tour. She was amazing and even transfered us to a sister hotel at a discounted price since with our new date, our rooms weren't available. So we can't comment on this hotel since we didn't stay there but the sister hotel was good and the staff amazing so with the same management I'd assume this hotel would have been good as well.

I had the most pleasant stay here! The concierge made every effort to make my stay enjoyable and even looked after me when I fell sick in Hanoi. I strongly recommend E Central to anyone visiting Hanoi and wanting to experience the Old Quarter.

The location of this stay was really good. Not full on centre of the Old quarter, but just a jump away from the lake.
The staff is very helpful with any questions you have and very kind.

The staff at this property are amazing. They are so helpful and try very hard to speak English. Lucy was amazing. She helped us organise activities and had suggestions of things to do. She made a point of remembering our names. The property is small and there are only 3 rooms to a floor. I would suggest you request a larger room. Our room was pretty small with nowhere to really put your suitcases. The location is perfect for the Fri, Sat and Sunday market.

The night we arrived it was 10.30 and Jeremy made sure our check in was smooth. He even carried all our luggage to the room. Lucy and Neo were there every step of the way supporting and helping with everything we asked. Two of ths sweetest people I have met. Both of them are bursting with energy and we heard nothing but “yes”.

Duc is a sweet boy always greeted us on our way through the door. On our last day we were getting dropped off and it was raining. Duc saw us and ran with 2 umbrellas in hand. I would not think twice to stay here on our next trip to Hanoi.
And, we had the suite on the top floor with a large balcony and amazing view. Breakfast every morning was a ritual and food was amazing. Location of the hotel is perfect to walk everywhere.

We enjoyed our 1 night, the staff are excellent whatever we asked for help.

Staying at this hotel truly captured Hanoi for me....the hospitality here is at the highest level....the kindest staff....great breakfast....I was sad to leave this place....and I will definitely stay there again as it was everything I could hope for and more...
