Hotel Cornavin

This is an older style hotel. It's next to the train station which was very convenient. The staff was great.

Hotel Cornavin is in a great location across from Geneva's main train station. It is also convenient to several bus and tram lines making it easy to explore the city.The bathroom and decor are a little dated but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Next to Geneva Station. The hotel is aged but clean, tidy and staffs are helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed at this hotel when travelling with a tour group. Found the person at check in to be rude and was only willing to give us 1 key even though there were 3 of us in a triple share room. Very inconvenient as we didn’t always go out together. And the key was cumbersome. The room was average and old and tired and had minimal amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and coffee etc. Maybe we were given an old room as we were in a tour group. Apart from location, it did not have much going for it and would not consider it a 4 star hotel.

The hotel room is a bit small for 3 people ( triple room).

We were given the first floor and was quite noisy as we could hear the trams passing by most of the time till midnight .

There is no air conditioning except a fan.

However , the location is excellent , just a few minutes walk to the Train station, tram and bus stops.

Property is modern, near the train station. Clean, AC was good on the first night, but seem to be off the second night .

Room we had very strong chemical smell, couldn’t stay in that room when we complained they moved us to the top floor which was a great room, fresh, airy, bright and we could open the windows which gave us fresh air. There’s no concierge service at all, no one to help with our luggage or guide us to our room. Hotel looks and feels tired, staffs attitude matched the hotel.
This hotel should be 3 stars.

The hotel location is good, breakfast is fresh and workers are nice. Compare the price we paid we deserve better conditions for hotel

Convenient and close to the rail station. The check in process was easy and the overall stay was wxcellent

The hotel is located in the perfect place if you aren't looking to stray far from the main train station in Geneva. The building may look aged, but the interior is quite modern and pretty. We had no issues during our stay and would recommend Hotel Cornavin to anybody!

Very limited amenities - tiny soap, tiny towels, no conditioner, no body lotion, old tiny TV. Feels like something from the 1970s. Shower still in a deep tub and swings around when you turn it on, spraying water everywhere. No fan in the bathroom, No AC.

The rooms were clean, the bed and bedding fine, and I did like the large desk in front of picture window.

But for an average of $350/ night, i would never stay at this hotel again.

Perfect location right next to railway station. Very friendly reception staff. Clean and spacious room.

Great location. Close to transit and restaurants and all conveniences. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Room was basic but clean. Loved the free transit pass. Would stay there again
