Una estancia en el pasado
Pros:

Te alojas en un museo. Las habitaciones están decoradas con muebles de la época colonial, Un servicio impecable. Además puedes pedir que enciendan la chimenea de leña en la habitación. Recepción muy eficiente, nos organizaron muy bien el transporte a Quetaltenango.

Cons:

I wish they had purified water we could dispense to film our water bottles. We had to ask the staff to fill in kitchen every time.

historic hotel that is nicer than the town it sits in

This hotel has a lot of historical character, and the real fireplace is a nice touch in a city that can be quite cold at night. The restaurant is good.

Cons:

The town itself is not as nice as I had expected. It has ugly and chaotic construction and the roads are very inadequate.

Le seul intérêt de Chichicastenango c'est son marché. Sinon le bourg n'a aucun charme.
Pros:

Ancien bâtiment colonial qui ne manque pas de charme mais l'ensemble est franchement vieillot et l'électricité ne semble pas vraiment aux normes.
En soirée le feu dans la cheminée est bienvenu.

Cons:

Les chambres sont très sombres et l'éclairage insuffisant.

El hotel es impresionantemente lindo, su gente es muy cálida. Una experiencia cultural.
Pros:

La calidad de la atencion al cliente, la infraestructura histórica cultural del lugar y lo ordenado y limpio. Don Tomás es una excelente persona y tiene un trato muy especial. Agradecidos con esto.

Cons:

No debería recomendar el cementerio como actividad turística. El cementerio es está muy feo, muy descuidado. Podrían organizarse entre vecinos y limpiarlo.

Für uns der beste Aufenthalt in Guatemala
Pros:

Schöne Unterkunft im Kolonialstil. Tolles, aufmerksames Personal, gepflegter Garten und leckeres Frühstück. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Markt, gute Restaurants sind in der Nähe einfach erreichbar. Taxis können kostengünstig in alle beliebigen Städte organisiert werden (bei uns ging es danach nach Panajachel).

Cons:

Der einzige kleine Punkt: es dauert ein bisschen, bis das Wasser fürs Duschen warm wird. Aber das ist Gewöhnungssache und hat uns nicht gestört.
