Pros:

The room was nice and clean.

Cons:

The hotel offered money for drinks, however when we arrived(5pm) the staff had finished for the day, so there was knowone to serve any drinks. Also our room was on the ground floor and in the morning around (7 30) there was alot of banging and clattering,I'm assuming breakfast prep.

Pros:

Mycket sköna sängar. Rymligt rum och gott om plats för att packa upp kläderna. Frukosten va magisk. Vilken meny att välja på och så god.

Cons:

Varmt på rummet och fanns bara en liten bordsfläkt och ett pyttelitet fönster att öppna.

All in all was good. Was a fair distance from the front about a 30 minute walk but I should have researched better.
Pros:

Very clean. Hosts were friendly.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable- dipped in the middle and felt like your head was lower than your legs and the sink taps were awkward to turn on and off.
Also you couldn’t open the window very far. I get that was for safety but made the room very warm and stuffy.

Pros:

Great location for esplanade and pavilion. Easy on street parking. Fantastic room. Best breakfast ever and loads of choices. Friendly staff. Perfect for us.

Relaxing, comfortable and excellent value for money.
Pros:

I had a feeling we would not be disappointed with our stay because we’d previously had breakfast at Rowntree Lodge when staying at different accommodation in Scarborough. We were not disappointed 😊, our room was large and well equipped. Especially loved having a fridge in our room. A lovely addition that lots of hotels do not offer.
Our room was spotlessly clean.
We loved everything about Rowntree. The breakfast is amazing.

Great en-suite room st the top of the hotel. Super breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. All-round excellent stay. Would definitely return.

The location and parking is good. The breakfast was very good and lovely staff at breakfast.

Cons:

The room was very dated. The toilet flush was broken. Above the sink the plaster was falling off just below the tiles. The outside window ledges need repainting. . A large rug on the floor, all crumpled and a trip hazard.

A perfect place to stay
Pros:

The room was clean, comfortable, the king size bed in room 7 was a bonus and they even provided a fan for the room. There was plenty of storage for longer stays we were only there for 1 night. There was an iron and board. We loved the cafe/breakfast room it was very quirky and the food was well presented hot and tasty. The person who greeted us was very informative when we asked questions about the taxi services. And staff are very friendly.I actually preferred this area of Scarborough to stay it’s near the spa and has beautiful views over the bay the closer you get to the seafront about a five minute walk from the lodge.

Cons:

We loved this property and would stay again so nothing.
