Nothing
I had an early start and so I left at 6am.
nothing
Simple and comfortable.
The associated bar and restaurant was good, food was really nice. The breakfast was huge.
The room was substandard, unclean and in need of a serious renovation.
There were water stains down the walls of the room which were concerning.
There was no view, the view we had was just the roof of the bar and the building next door.
The bed was really uncomfortable. the bed sheet was too small for the mattress meaning one corner of the mattress was turning up where the tightness of the sheet was pulling it up. It was a super soft and springy mattress meaning whenever someone moved on the mattress the entire bed would wobble/move. The bedding was old and bobbly.
The towels were old, small and tatty.
The shower was in the bath, to get the shower to work you had to remove the shower head from its holder then turn on the taps and once running replace the shower head in the holder. The bath was unclean, there were hairs/pubes in the bath. There was nothing to hold on to when in the shower, it also had a shower curtain, which would blow around whilst in the shower.
The noise from the bar associated with the hotel was awful. The bar was meant to shut at 11pm (we stayed a Sunday night). I was kept awake until 1am on Monday morning by the noise from the bar, singing, music playing, shouting etc. When I went down at 12:30am to see what was happening alcohol was still being served and there was still a fair amount of people in the bar drinking and partying. This was totally unacceptable. I had requested a quiet room and ended up having a really poor nights sleep due to the noise coming from the bar area way after closing time.
The food in the bar was excellent, friendly atmosphere and clean comfortable room. Hotel was close to city centre but on a nice quiet road. The lady on reception was more than helpful letting us know about road closures and alternative routes for travelling during the marathon. Couldn't fault a thing. Would love to come back again sometime.
Nothing to dislike, the room was very warm but I just prefer cold room to sleep in
Extensive indoor and outdoor (covered) places to eat, socialise and drink. There was generous on-site parking. Room was large but windows to our room had to be kept closed owing to the noise of kitchen fans. Staff on reception and at the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a range of facilities and residents can readily stay on site for drinks, meals and chat. A very pleasant and friendly ambiance.
The hotel is little out of town and a longish walk to the centre of Limerick. Our room was a little noisy, but not excessively so.
Tutto perfetto , dalla posizione alla pylizia al cibo
The building was well maintained and functional for my stay
