One of the best places we ever stayed!
Pros:

The hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The design and comfort of the room were exceptional, with every detail feeling carefully thought through to create a relaxing and luxurious stay. The staff were outstanding throughout — attentive, warm, and highly professional. The Spa is an absolute must-do and was one of the highlights of the experience. Breakfast and dining at the restaurants were equally impressive, with excellent food and great variety. Overall, a truly memorable stay.

Nice facility in the right spot, just needs a spot of investment and a few people who care.

The staff were so-so…even if we spoke French; other than one guys in the car, they all looked like they would rather be elsewhere
Our room smelled mush…consistent with the comment above, we informed staff but no interest, feedback, action (that we were aware of)
The facility seems to be under-occupied and indeed needs so TLC in terms of the interior and exterior.
The bar closes when quiet; we went to the neighbouring (Reef) restaurant; came back at 9:45…bar closed.

Enjoyable, and would consider booking there again
Pros:

great location, especially the direct beach access, a little out of the main drag, but still easy to get to restaurants etc

Cons:

Decent sized mugs for tea and coffee would be good - the cups provided were too small.

Noise from discos down the road - varying levels of noise too many nights … but not much can be done about that

Welcoming staff, comfortable stay with hidden extras!
Pros:

The spa was amazing and a lovely surprise. With a multitude of different jet and water features. Men must have tight swimmers not board shorts to use. The rooms were large and in room facilities great

We had a terrific time at the hotel and would definitely recommend it.
Pros:

The hotel was fantastic and the staff were lovely. We were upgraded to a suite - the room was excellent. I didn't get the opportunity to experience the spa which was included in our stay. The access to the pool and beach was great. The entire hotel was super clean. Breakfast was not included in the room rate but the a la carte breakfast menu was terrific and the food was great. I would definitely return to Chateau Royale!

Pros:

Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et agréables.
La piscine également avec accès à la mer direct avec filet anti requin.
SPA très agréable avec une belle proposition

Cons:

Payer 27€ pour pouvoir accéder à la chambre qui était déjà prête à peine 1h plus tôt que l’heure du Check-in (je voyage beaucoup et c’est la première fois que je vois ça).
Le restaurant n’était pas à mon goût.

a great place to ,chill and enjoy Nouméa
Pros:

I wanted a break. I really enjoyed the welcome from the staff of the Warai, especially Valérie who was helpful and sincerely paid attention and Audrey from the bar. The spa is a plus whenever the beach is not available which happened twice during my stay (jellyfish alert and shark alert) . the swimming pool is one of the largest in Nouméa and it is always sunny.contrary to the Hilton which is always in the shade and is rather tiiny.
The food at the Warai was always fresh and tasty and rather reasonably priced .
Wifi works fine. the pianist at lunch adds a . smart touch with old favorites such as a Sentimental journey.

Cons:

When I arrived, the price of the room has been lowered on booking but I didn't get a rebate and had to wait until 3pm although the room was already available.
I had to, ask and wait for a receipt when leaving. the front dask is not the main asset. everything else is fine though.
