Accommodations were excellent and staff was helpful! Only negative was the noise outside every night until 3:00AM
Picture from site shows white cushions comfortable chairs, not. Plastic chairs rickety wood table.
The location is superb and the building has great character, starting with the amazing staircase. The rooms are small, but that is totally typical of an old hotel with character!
We were quite disappointed with the hotel, given the price we paid. There was no hot water at all in our bathroom for our 2 day stay, and the staff appeared to try and fix it, but didn't. They were not very apologetic and offered no compensation, no change of room etc. It's a great location in Rome, but you may need to be prepared to have cold showers. We therefore do not recommend you book as you may encounter the same problem.
A quaint hotel tucked into an small alley in the heart of Rome.
Staff was helpful and pleasant
Great location and we were able to walk to many of the top attractions in Rome.
The location of the hotel is very convenient and was a good pick based on that alone. Otherwise, the hotel shower had mold in it, the air conditioner had mold in it and on it causing us to get sick from using it, the doorframe of our room was broken and we could see in through the crack, we were able to effortlessly use our room key to open the door through the hinge and not the key lock, there was a guest from a different room that came into our room in the middle of the night thinking it was their room and got in after a few shakes of the doorknob. When we brought it up to staff, all that was said was “sorry there’s nothing we can do right now”. The mini fridge also had grime in it from past guests. Overall, it was not the greatest experience.
The hotel was beautifully positioned close to the Piazza Navona in a little cul de sac yet without the noise and hassle of the main tourist areas.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was nice though the outdoor sitting area could have been nicer and things like the light wasn't working. Breakfast was served in your room, and I had a lovely view over the rooftops. But be aware that there isn't a lift so travel light or keep fit (or staying her will make you fit) as it is quite a long climb to the top floor!
Enjoyed my stay here! I felt safe and comfortable coming back late in the evening from nights out. A small improvement would be using QR codes to scan ‘breakfast’ forms or papers instead. Overall, brilliant stay and friendly staff. Would stay again☺️
The hotel is in a great location with lovely cool rooms that ensure a good nights sleep in the heat!
Superb location close to restaurants, shops and bars. Easy transport links if needed.
So beautiful in the apartment. Steps are a bit much, but this just means you get a better view!
Charming historic hotel in very convenient location! Friendly and helpful staff and generous breakfast included. Comfortable bed and pillows; air conditioning is great. Everything I was looking for in a classy palace from the 1500s. Easy, wide stairs. Shower is small but not a problem for us. Taxi is 3 min walk from hotel. Loved the quaint, historic charm and will definitely be back when returning to Rome. Excellent experience!!
The only great two things about it was the convenient location in the city and only one nice front desk girl, Jessica so helpful and kind. The other young lady was really not a good fit for the place.
I do like the room
I didn’t like area very crowded and the fact no elevator is terrible we have to leave our luggages at the lobby because is like 100 steps to get to the room also breakfast is not good and they put it at the room
I had a very nice stay! Location was amazing - on a quiet side street right off of a very lively part of town with bars, restaurants, shopping, and sights. Wish the AC had worked a little better, but overall a great hotel.
Nice location easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Not to far from major attraction areas. If stairs are not your thing I definitely recommend asking for a lower floor. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of our triple room and the walk in closet dressing area. Only call out we had was the vaulted ceiling shared with adjacent room meant we could hear everything they said as I am sure they could hear us!
Centrally located to dinning and attractions
The hotel is perfectly located about 10 minutes walk from Piazza Navonna, Campo di Fiore and the Pantheon - it is down a quiet street with lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby.
However I would struggle to call this a hotel and the rooms are tiny and, in my case, have virtually no daylight (see photo below taken at 11am. It is hazy because my phone had to take it over 3 seconds) and there is no communal space or breakfast option. There is no lift - there are 92 steps to the top floor rooms.
Perfect location, beautiful view
