La Quinta by Wyndham Leesville Ft. Polk

The breakfast could been better. The pic looked like a great breakfast was served. But wasn't. Cold boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal and watered down orange juice. Pancke batter very thick. Had to scrape it out of cup to pour it in maker. Our door wasn't able to lock, the top latch kept moving to open, and I had to put the chair in front of door. I felt my family's safety was a concern l. But there was no other place to stay at that hour of the night.

The pool was very dirty, the shower doors was nasty, smoke alarm needed batteries, door 307 won’t close completely without the lock, and the batteries for the remotes were dead. I got 2 rooms.

The AC didn’t work in the room and it was 90 degrees outside.

Pool was green.

The room and main desk smelt like mold. The tv was basic cable and the A/C unit made a knocking noise, the wall had cracks and paster falling from the a/c

The smell of the nasty carpet on 2nd floor. Made it to my room 210 it was clean but refrigerator was out & leaking water onto floor. My shower was warm water wouldn’t get hot. Changed to room 206 wasn’t as clean as 210 but refrigerator worked & water was hot.,3 guys was given room 206 & walked in while my brother was in bed. This could have ended badly

They had my receipt completely wrong. I have to check my bank statement for possible overcharge

Upkeep issues like broken tiles in high traffic areas. Broken elevator. Limited breakfast. Probably just an overall typical Leesville hotel but not up to Laquinta standards.

No hot water

It was nasty... No breakfast like it said and over priced

Carpets were stained and filthy. I would not walk in my room barefoot. Shower was questionable, looked like it had a lot of scum buildup. I did not shower and would not without shower shoes. Room smelt awful. Floors in the lobby were cracked. Door out to the pool looks disgusting. Shouldn't charge more then $50 for a room in this hotel.

Non smelling lobby ... Dirty bathroom .... There was poop on the seat . My wife cleaned

Bathroom filthy, lamps molding carpet faded, dog in breakfast at area.

Everything, building looked to be falling in once I paid for the room only to find as you get inside the hotel to go to our room that near about every wall was broke/nasty, floors unleveled to make you stub your toe and trip and fall. One of the elevators were out of service and the other acted like it was about done with. The rooms were dirty, bathroom had exhaust fan but no switch, even the switch plate was halfway attached to the wall. No towels or washcloths were in there so had to go retrieve them only to be told “we are understaffed at the moment” with no apologies or anything. Outside the entrance door at end of hallway was broken up tiles on the outside side with rotten wood that you had to step over or you were gonna fall through it and as you were going down the hallway the doors to the rooms were cracked open. Natural gas smells were coming from the laundry area not to mention the odor of mildew. I don’t understand how this facility is still open.
