Everything was very nice and clean and the staff was great
That there was no update charge for phones

Smelled like mold, toilet flush knob was broke. TV channels were not easy to navigate.
The ENTIRE hotel smelled AWFUL.
Easy access getting checked in and to my room.
I felt like the bed/ linen was creating irritation to my skin. I felt like something was crawling on me throughout the whole night which led to me scratching a lot. My sibling reported the same issues too. We scan the bed/ linen for bed bugs but not sure what was there if any. Also, the toilet handle was so rusted that it broke off. When we reported to the front desk, they mentioned they would fix it that day or tomorrow ( the day of check out ). No assistance was provided or reports of resolve so we had to use our hands to open the top lid and flush. Room 308.
The nostalgia of the area
The phones in my room didn't work, the remote in my room didn't work. I had other guest rooms and there were issues with those rooms as well. It took 3 tries to find a room for once if my guest. From no ac to no curtains on the windows. I expected more from La Quinta.
Not much to like.
The breakfast could been better. The pic looked like a great breakfast was served. But wasn't. Cold boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal and watered down orange juice. Pancke batter very thick. Had to scrape it out of cup to pour it in maker. Our door wasn't able to lock, the top latch kept moving to open, and I had to put the chair in front of door. I felt my family's safety was a concern l. But there was no other place to stay at that hour of the night.
It’s near the base
The pool was very dirty, the shower doors was nasty, smoke alarm needed batteries, door 307 won’t close completely without the lock, and the batteries for the remotes were dead. I got 2 rooms.
It was close to base and the room was clean
The AC didn’t work in the room and it was 90 degrees outside.

The room and main desk smelt like mold. The tv was basic cable and the A/C unit made a knocking noise, the wall had cracks and paster falling from the a/c
That it was close to the job site on fort Polk base where I had a work assignment
The smell of the nasty carpet on 2nd floor. Made it to my room 210 it was clean but refrigerator was out & leaking water onto floor. My shower was warm water wouldn’t get hot. Changed to room 206 wasn’t as clean as 210 but refrigerator worked & water was hot.,3 guys was given room 206 & walked in while my brother was in bed. This could have ended badly

They had my receipt completely wrong. I have to check my bank statement for possible overcharge
It was well kept outside. Clean inside. AC worked. Clean sheets and towels. We were able to change our reservation to a different room at the last minute.
Upkeep issues like broken tiles in high traffic areas. Broken elevator. Limited breakfast. Probably just an overall typical Leesville hotel but not up to Laquinta standards.

No hot water
Nothing about it... Very disappointed... We would consider staying with a few free vouchers.. my husband works off and uses your facility up until this past weekend.... Dirty... Commode was stopped up in the room that was given to us and was moved to another room which sucked as well... I have a 2lb mini Chihuahua...I had to pay $20 pet fee that was non-refundable.. never once have we had a facility another facility that didn't return the $20 afterwards.... So I found myself torn when my lil fur baby shit on the floor.... So I asked myself well, that $20 that I don't get back must be what takes care of the "accidents" that a 2lb Chihuahua may have.... So self said, if I got my pet fee back I would have been so torn as leave or pick it up even though the morally correct and respectful way would have been for me to pick it up.... But no clarification....on conditions surrounding the 20 fee And so the customer service experience all around absolutely sucked... Just being honest..
