Weekend Getaway Turned Nightmare
Pros:

Everything was clean, breakfast was good

Cons:

Water was shut off from 10pm-4:30am. I asked the front desk for a partial refund and they refused because they said it was a city issue. However, the hotel provides hospitality services, and water is considered a basic necessity as your product of hotel service. Advanced notice is required for all guest accommodations to receive consent that a service would not be provided, when otherwise would be. Regardless if the fault of hotel or not. For example, if a fire burnt down the hotel while I stayed there, it would be required for the hotel to refund me- since services were not rendered. To apply this same logic, I was able to have shelter in their facilities however they did not provide the necessary facilities to support basic needs. Why should I pay for a service the hotel does not provide?

Pros:

Ample parking even with a trailer. Very clean. Responsive staff. Good breakfast. Just overall a comfortable place to stay.

Cons:

My niece tried to get through to the front desk multiple times after check in and the line was constantly busy. Not sure if the phone was off the hook or what.

I did not appreciate the indifference and non-caring attitudes of the majority of the staff working.
Pros:

The breakfast was fair.
The desk attendant that checked me in, Michelle, was very nice and cordial but she was gone after that.

Cons:

The sausage ran out and the toast ran out. The breakfast staff were NOT attentive to the food that kept running out. I only had scrambled eggs and coffee. The maid did not make up our room the first day because the Do Not Disturb sign was up until 11:15 AM while we got ready to go out. We took it down then and the maid was making up the room next to mine. We expected her to make up our room after that one and it was NOT when we arrived back at 4 pm. I complained to the front desk and was told that once we have the sign on the door, they do NOT go back later! This has NEVER happened before at other motels/hotels where we have stayed! There was NOTHING about this in the motel's policies or in the room. The maid(s) at this place are inattentive to their guests needs, they don't care and are lazy. And the girl at the front desk I reported this up seemed indifferent. I rented a Disabled access room.
The maid had apparently not checked the hand soap and body wash dispensers as they were empty! And, there was no tissue in the bathroom or room.

Stay away!
Pros:

The helpful receptionist, who was very helpful in procuring us a room at another hotel after the manager messed up our booking.

Cons:

We arrived early evening and were given a smaller room than we booked - it didn’t have beds for all of us. The manager had overbooked and didn’t have the right room. My husband spoke to the manager on the phone, and the manager was extremely rude, basically telling us too bad and we had to take it up with Booking.com. He took no responsibility, and was rude and accusatory.
