Best hotel ever, absolutely gorgeous. Amazing pool incredible food, some of the best pasta of my life. Such a fun, beautiful space so many cool areas to explore. This was the best place we went in Sardinia, highly recommend! Only complaint - bad coffee. Otherwise, just perfect

Beautiful, eclectic property.

Rustic Charm! Lovely experience! Don’t be put off by some of the negative reviews- especially the ones about luggage support and service. The service was perfect. There’s much to love about this place. It’s not a luxury resort so if that’s what you’re after this is not your place but it’s a unique property, quaint, charming and cozy in a scenic, quiet area away from everything. Our room was nicer than expected and comfortable. Overall it was better than expected. The restaurant was actually not as good as expected although it’s charming and dry busy. We had dinner there two nights in a row. One night the service was great. The second night it was abysmal. The food was unremarkable but very inexpensive.

El hotel es muy lindo, cálido, lleno de escondites donde la naturaleza se encuentra. Lo único que no nos gustó fueron las habitaciones. Nos tocaron unas sin ventana y muy oscuras.

This is a truly special place. The spaces are unique, the staff are wonderful, the rooms were spacious and thoughtful but it’s hard to put into words just what makes this place so special. I do t think there’s anywhere like it. I will definitely be back.

In die Jahre gekommen mit teilweise schlechtem Service. Wir sassen zehn Minuten alleine in der Bar, zwei Personen hinter der Theke mit sich selbst beschäftigt ohne auf die Idee zu kommen uns zu fragen, ob wir einen Wunsch hätten. Dann sind wir gegangen.

We loved our stay at Su Gologone. It felt in the middle of nowhere, which was very cool, and had a fun, colorful, historical spirit. The staff were kind and very helpful, the pool was beautiful and relaxing. There were so many activities at the property, and they can help make other reservations in the area (def recommend a boat trip). The dinner in the garden was unforgettable, and we enjoyed it so much we had dinner in their other restaurant another night. Breakfast was generous and delicious. There was incredible art and museum-quality artifacts everywhere. I will say the beds were quite hard, and the bathrooms could use a little updating, but everything was clean and thoughtfully supplied. Would absolutely recommend!

A wonderful experience

Beautiful hotel with a lot of art work and beautiful views

It’s quite a unique property nestled up at the foot of the mountains. It feels like being in Mexico - both for the vegetation and the architecture. The bar up the hill is great and the nighttime patio dining is very convivial. Notable were the pastas. Staff was also super friendly. We also had great massages. One thing to note is that the property seems a bit tired. The photos definitely show better than the reality. The AC in our room didn’t really work either. Still recommend going for a couple nights. It will be a memorable experience!

An authentic and peaceful experience anyone should do if visiting the island of Sardinia.

En anläggning som verkar ha passerar "bäst före datum".
Personalen var alltid hjälpsam och trevlig men tyvärr verkar omsorgen för byggnaden och området svikta. Ledsamt att gå omkring och se förfallet. Orkar man inte med underhåll så är det bättre att lägga ner tennisbana, fotbollsplan, minigolf etc än att det ser övergivet ut.
Maten skulle vara traditionell men vi åt betydligt godare mat på andra ställen på Sardinien.

Pros:
Great if youre 60 years plus.
Restaurant and food were very good
Big pool
Incredible view

Cons:
Expensive
“Experience” were all booked up
Mini putt was unkept and therefore not usable
Jacuzzi was cold and not usable
“Gym” was basic

Honestly, if you like a fancy farm looking at their garden and chicken coop, its great. Theres a library with old books and a store selling plates glassware and painted rocks for pretty high prices but take pride that it was made by the locals! Great! Just doesn’t justify the $400 price. This place is good for wealthy old people who want to feel closer to Sardinian nature without the actual work.

Coolest place we stayed in Sardinia. Highly rec.

transportive to the real sardina without sacrificing 5 star experience. a perfect convergence and it bubbles over with imagination, food and love
