In zona centrale
tutto ok
we visited Pistoia during the time of the Blues Festival in 2014. The last free room in Pistoia was the Junior Suite of the Piccolo Ritz.
Don't book it if you want to sleep!! The room is big, comfortable with an awesome bathroom, but its on the street-floor and if your windows are open everyone who walks away can look in. The street is very noisy as all the cars and buses direction Firenze are passing by your window.
The staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was ok as well but if I ever go back again im going to chose another room (preferred on any other floor)
Spent just one night here for the blues festival.
We stayed on the top floor in the "attic room" which was stuffy and odd. However the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean.
Mini bar a nice extra when its hot.
The shower cubical needed a good clean to rid some mould but the shower itself was good.
Close to the station and centre.
Could do with a revamp but adequate for an overnight stop.
Breakfast was adequate but would have liked toast.
We were greeted by a young lady who spoke excellent english. The room we had was on the top floor and was very clean. We spent one comfortable night at the hotel and will return next year when the blues festival is on. The staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money.
Booked one night so we could see The Black Crowes at the Blues festival.
The good news: location is really good, 2 minutes from railway station, 2 min from the center. But hey, Pistoia is so small, every hotel has a good location.
For the rest: ice cold reception (they only smiled when my wife almost fell over her suitcase), a room from grandmother's days, with picture frames arranged at every possible height, no shower cabine so you risk your life after the floor gets all wet and slippery, typical 'supermarket' breakfast with nothing but wrapped sugary junk. And you can't pay with Visa.
You could say: 'ah well, it's just a place to crash' - but 86 euros/night is a 'piccolo' bit ridiculous, don't you think.
Bad room
Bad stuff
Don' t speak English

Stayed in Piccolo Ritz two nights and used it as a base to explore northern Tuscany by car. Room was clean and spacious with all the basics needed. There is a paid parking area across the street and a free parking a couple of blocks away. Breakfast is adequate. We were welcomed with an expresso upon arrival and staff was very friendly and helpful, although a bit inexperienced.
