Nice Location if you are visiting Matsumoto Castle
Pros:

Old style Japan rooms, not occidental. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very nice to all of us, the room were clean and very acomodating.

Cons:

I did no like that there is not a direct elevator from the lobby floor to the rooms, If you have to carry your luggage to your room you will be disappointed, one stairs down then the Elevator.

期待していたのですが、設備に難あり
Pros:

ロビー、1階の雰囲気、フロントの対応は良かったです

Cons:

ホテルの都合でしょうがないでしょうが、チェックインして10分程で、寝具の用意に部屋に来て、寛ぐ間もなかったです

外人向けかと思いますが、スリッパが畳で出来ていて、サイズも大きく年配者には転倒の不安がありました

A quiet hotel but everywhere is within walking distance. Feel Very relax
Pros:

The best part is the shuttle service that the hotel offers, even when I texted 2 hours before the scheduled pick up time to reserve. The staff were helpful in making recommendations for dinner and even made reservations for us.
The location was excellent as the important amenities like Matsumoto station, Aeon mall, walking streets are within walking distance.

Pros:

Was only a 5 minute walk to Matsumoto Castle.

Cons:

Walls felt very thin as you could hear everything going on in the hotel. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work.

ゆっくりと時間を過ごす
Pros:

食事がおいしかったです。
地ビールもすごく濃厚でした。
民藝家具がホテルの雰囲気とばっちり合っていて、時代が遡った感じがしました。
松本の中町通りの感じとマッチしていました。

Cons:

特に無いですが、強いていうなら段差が多いかな。

スタッフの対応、食事良かった。
Pros:

フロントスタッフの方が、観光について親身にアドバイスをしてくださいました。
また、食事も美味しかった。

Cons:

別館のお部屋が、レトロな雰囲気は理解するが、埃っぽい匂いが気になった。
また、宿のせいではなく、booking.comのシステムのせいだが、数日前に確認したら、人数が６名→3名に勝手に変更になっていた。

Great overall except the shower experience in the room.
Pros:

Staffs are all friendly and communicate in English pretty well. The bed is comfy with 2 pillows provided for each bed. Location is very closed to Matsumoto castle. French dinner course was superb.

Cons:

The bathroom looks nice but it could use a whole new renovation especially in the shower area. A single bathtub with the rain shower head that sprays water in all directions are really not an ideal shower experience. In addition, even if there's an elevator, you still need to use some extra stairs for some rooms.

Very comfortable, great location, lovely staff. Would definitely stay there again!
Pros:

Very spacious for Japanese standards, beautiful views to the Japanese Alps, very comfortable beds.

Cons:

Bathroom set up a bit weird, toilet with cold and off angle shower.

Ideally more western options for breakfast such as a healthy bread with seeds and fibre one cereal.
