The windows need cleaning and I thought the same last time. It’s nice to look out of windows you can see through both in the bedrooms and in public areas.

Bed was too soft for me
We have stayed at The George on numerous occasions. The staff are lovely, the location is perfect for what we need ( proximity to the Pannier Market) , parking is easy and breakfast is fresh and delicious.
The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.
Very comfortable bed, very clean room. Good choice of teas, also we were offered a small flask of fresh milk for drinks, much appreciated. We were allowed to take cakes from the hotel cafe to our room :) (I recommend the carrot cake). Breakfast freshly cooked, delicious. Friendly helpful staff. Free adjacent car parking. Would stay again if in area in future.
