Best Western Williams Lake

The hot tub had too much chlorine and burnt the eyes and nose. The metal bar above the closet fell off and head me in the head and caused a mild concussion.

Room was clean. Staff was great. Parking was easy. The rooms bathroom fan did not work - but I am sure it can be fixed.

The room was adequate; my view was a bank/hill. The bed was comfortable. The shower had a high pitched screech the entire time it ran, which was unpleasant. The breakfast was okay but compared to other complimentary hot breakfasts of similar nature, this underwhelmed. The worst part about this hotel was the man who was there during check-out. I went to use the pool after breakfast prior to checking out and saw there was a sign that it was not in service because it was being cleaned. I asked front desk if i could use it since no one was in there cleaning it, but he said they had added chemicals and it wasn't ready. I suggested this be done when closing the pool so that it was useable for folks before they checked out, to which he replied very rudely that they follow Interior Health standards (touchy subject?). I asked if I could use the hot tub in the meantime and he said it was fine to use. Unfortunately it was less than luke-warm; colder than a kiddie pool at the rec center. I gave up and left and mentioned this to front desk, and he replied that "it is set to Interior Health standards" and was not interested in checking it or resolving anything (this guy should really go work for IH.. super into their "regulations"). The whole pool/hot tub area could use a reno, it looked a bit dingy and water looked yellow (probably the IH standard).

It is a nice hotel and all of the staff we talked to were very kind. However, the heater in our room was making a terrible sound. Thankfully we were able to be moved to another room, but that was at 12:30AM. Grateful to have been moved but that was a huge inconvenience for us.

We've stayed here everytime traveling through. Staff are always accommodating, rooms are clean and quiet. Pools enjoyed. Our grand daughter loves the continental breakfast. Will definitely always choose here.

Friendly staff. Very high bed to get into but comfortable for sleeping.

Will totally return!

Paid quite a bit extra for the jet tub, filled the tub turned on the jets and it shot out dirt or something of the sort. Also cold knob didn't work so it was very hot or had to wait for it to cool down. Beds were a bit hard, both woke up sore. Otherwise would be a 5 star

Clean hotel room and premises. Continental breakfast was very good. No hassle stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Well done and thank you!

Clean and updated rooms

The elevator in the hotel was not working. The staff at the hotel called prior to us arriving to let us know ahead of time so that we were aware of the issue in advance. Appreciated their thoughtfulness.

Did not like that the elevator was not working and we needed to climb the stairs which is challenging with replacement knees on a spiral staircase carrying luggage. Lastly we choose this hotel because it had a pool which can be nice to workout those aches and pains in the knees, sadly the pool was out of commission, had I known this we would have stayed elsewhere.

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our early check in request after drove through the night.

Was not told the pool and hot tub was having issues till we went down there ..hot tub was luke warm the pool was cold ... no towels.

Room would have been very nice if we didn’t have to share it with outside bugs. The room was tidy but could be much cleaner. Hot tub only worked 2 nights out of our stay.
Staff was friendly.
Breakfast was good.

This is a decent best western hotel. Food was good in the morning. A couple food options nearby - shout out to the casino nearby. Large rooms but the felt a little tired - worn furniture and dirty tile in the bathroom. Not a lot of light in this property - used least wattage possible which made things feel dim. Pool felt like a missed opportunity. Good space with no design. Honestly this could be a gem. Would still recommend staying. Solid hotel for the night.
