Just when you think no one has any decency anymore
Pros:

I often stay at the Hyatt in Delray Brach,FL and love it. Today however, I needed assistance and met Zoe at the front desk. I live nearby and locked myself out of my apt. No keys, phone , wallet or money. I asked if I could use the phone to call my daughter at work and Zoe offered to look up where she worked and even dialed it and held on through all the prompts. I finally got through to my daughter and was able to walk to her apt and get a spare key. Who does things like this anymore? What a breath of fresh air meeting someone who obviously had an upbringing with proper manners and so courteous. The Hyatt family is lucky to have someone with this kind of professionalism representing their company. Thanks again Zoe for saving my day! Your friendly neighbor, Karen

It was a good choice since had an event in town… easy for dining, clubs and shopping.
Pros:

Nice hotel but a bit pricey for the facilities. Unhelpful staff. Good location for being in town.

Cons:

Breakfast area too small for size of hotel and buffet not great.

Good price / location for visiting Delray Beach

Pros:

The hotel is located in a perfect spot. Walk out in block from Atlantic Avenue. This hotel is in pineapple Grove. Most people go to Atlantic Avenue but make a left walking down Pineapple Grove. There are great places to eat and a rooftop bar at the Ray hotel... Miss Vicky is a great hotel manager

The star! Charles the bartender!
Pros:

Rooms were clean! Bathroom showers need a little TLC. It was nice having a good breakfast every morning! Location is great! Atmosphere is friendly and very helpful! But the main star is charles the bartender! He is fabulous! He knows where you can get anything in Delray! He is always smiling and happy! He knows how to make drinks and they( the drinks) are very Balanced ! He made my stay enjoyable! Can’t wait to come back!

College tour with a side excursion to our favorite town!
Pros:

Very convenient location, modern feel, clean rooms, and well worth the cost. Rooms were quiet, pool was nice, breakfast was fresh and in a sun-drenched lobby/lounge. Of course the best party of the lobby, though, is the bar. If you’re lucky, Charles will be behind the bar. He has great recommendations and is just a great tender.

Very nice, unclear about the value
Pros:

Location was excellent. Very much in the center of things. Glad to have breakfast included. The room was in good shape, clean, and the view was not bad.

Cons:

I can't really answer whether the value was there - it was expensive, but I didn't do significant research to determine whether it was a good value for the location. The parking situation is not optimal - the hotel apparently has only a limited number of spaces, and they utilize a lot across the (back) street from the property as well as spaces in their building. They indicated that a reservation was necessary to ensure a space, but I received no reply to my request. The cost was close to excessive - while I don't drive or rent a car when visiting a city, it really does seem like an unwanted addition that nearly every guest would pay in any event. I would rather have a choice between a free breakfast and free parking.

Loved the Redo
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. The nicest lobby and rooms of any Hyatt Place I have every stayed at. Vicky at the front desk was very nice and helpful throughout my stay. Great pool but the gym could use a redo. Loved my room but the toilet repair took 24 hours and the windows were so dirty that I kept the great room darkening shades drawn. Breakfast was very good and the staff did an amazing job refilling everything as two busloads of student athletes drained their resources daily. Location is perfect and the hotel is quiet for the most part. So many restaurants and bars, one would need to stay a month to sample most of them.
