Nice hotel with good location and a few flaws
Pros:

Delray Beach hotels, as a whole, are pretty crowded this time of year and can be inundated with kids so beware if you are trying to avoid that. We had a fairly comfortable room on 4th floor but the shower was a slow drainer and I hate glass bathroom doors or otherwise windows in the bathroom as I have to wake early and not disturb my wife (she is sensitve to light while sleeping).
We were awoken a couple times by kids running up and down the halls but no big deal for parents used to that and it died down before midnight.
The staff were helpful and pleasant and location was great and cleanliness also very good. Parking 30 bucks a night was expected for this desirable location but these fees have really gotten out of hand haven't they?
We would stay here again but as a necessity, not a desire.

Great Hotel. WiFI does not work consistently.
Pros:

Hotel is in a great location. Nicely updated. Clean. Big negative is the Wifi does not work consistently. Desk staff are aware. Problem is ongoing and has not been fixed for months according to staff and guests.

Horrible experience
Pros:

We were not notified in advance that the hotel had no heat, despite outside temperatures being around 40 degrees. Additionally, we were placed in an accessible room where the shower head would not stay in position, and the water temperature was difficult to regulate, becoming scalding unless adjusted past the “hot” setting. These issues made the stay uncomfortable and fell short of expectations.

Room Maintenance Issues and Uncomfortable Stay
Pros:

We stayed at Hyatt Place Delray Beach from January 17–19, 2026. Our first room had no working air conditioning, making it extremely hot and uncomfortable, and hot water was unreliable. We were not relocated until the following afternoon because the hotel was fully booked. Electrical outlets in the room were coming loose, and the second room had water leaking near the window. While staff were polite, these maintenance issues significantly impacted comfort and basic expectations.

Great updates to hotel
Pros:

This hotel has clearly gone through a fresh makeover, and it really shows. From the updated look to the overall feel of the space, everything feels cleaner, brighter, and more modern while still being comfortable and welcoming. The renovations give the property a refreshed energy that makes the stay more enjoyable from the moment you walk in.

A special shoutout goes to Charles at the bar. He did an excellent job tending bar—friendly, attentive, and genuinely great at what he does. He made excellent drinks, kept things moving smoothly, and created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that made it a great place to unwind. Service like that really elevates the entire experience. Between the fresh updates and standout service, this hotel is clearly moving in the right direction and is well worth a visit

Great location horrible cleaning staff
Pros:

Location and rooms were nice and spacious

Cons:

The rooms were never fully clean. They wouldn’t clean the floors at all. Didn’t change the sheets even if they were dirty. I also left tip for the clean staff but that didn’t seem to get the room any cleaner. It’s very unfortunate because it’s close to the beach so we ended up having to walk around with sand all over the floor the whole trip. Trip would’ve been much better if the room actually got cleaned.
