Archer Hotel Falls Church

The location is great with many local shops, cafes, restaurants, theater and events all within a few steps. Relatively easy access to Metro. The rooms are very clean and ample in size and include microwave, stove, and full refrigerator. Their included breakfast is great with a variety of hot and cold items, including their freshly baked delicious muffins. Price is very reasonable making stay there an excellent value. Nothing but praise for the welcoming and helpful staff.

What a surprise. I thought the Archer Hotel would be like a mid-level Marriott property e.g., a Residence Inn, but this was a true discovery in sleepy falls church, va. The Archer is on par with many so-called upscale hotels we have used in major cities like new york and chicago at a quarter of the price. (the fact that it used to be a Hyatt property may have been a factor in the tasteful decor and solid construction that made the rooms quiet).

We had a suite, that is a separate bedroom and living room with a full kitchen and all the utensils, dishware, and cutlery. It was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The couch in the living room was a sleeper. The waste baskets were standard size. There was even a bar of soap in addition to the liquid dispensers. We found slippers, bathrobes, and extra fluffy towels you would never have in the average Hilton motel. No upscale amenities like tooth brushes, razors, or creams. There was a safe for valuables. The shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure.

Discounted parking is available directly across the street. Service at the front desk was courteous and efficient. The only disappointment was breakfast. It was only equivalent to the usual corporate mid-tier offerings found everywhere. No charcuterie, no espresso machines, and no egg station. The American coffee was above average, however.

We booked in for several days as we needed to be close to Ivona Fairfax hospital and it was only 2 miles away. For a 3 star hotel I was skeptical but they exceeded our expectations. From check in to check out they were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some new carpeting but overall everything was pretty good. The beds are very hard and I did need to use my own foam mattress cover that I travel with. The free breakfast each morning was great with freshly made egg tarts or scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, and fresh grain breads for toast. Illy coffee and tea options were also wonderful. The staff were excellent and Bianca was very helpful. The parking was only $10/ night at the multi park across the street. It’s a free parking lot but the hotel has permission for overnight guests and I thought the price was fine. They had umbrellas available for those who needed it and luggage carts. They do not have bell staff so there isn’t anyone to help with luggage. Plenty of sitting areas and a spot where you can play old albums. I wish the AK bar stayed open past 10pm but Clare was excellent! We received the $25 food and beverage credit as well as $10 discount at the bar. I would stay here again and the value was unparalleled.

We stay very frequently with our son when visiting family. The archer goes beyond our expectations every time! Everyone is so nice and they even upgraded us for free because we come so often. We would never stay anywhere else when we are in the Fairfax area. Thanks so much Archer!

I had an amazing stay here at Archer Hotel in Falls Church! The rooms were clean and tidy, the staff were very kind and welcoming, and the amenities truly added such a nice touch to the stay. Since it is within the Mosaic District it is just a walk away from many shops and restaurants which is convenient for anyone looking to try new places to eat or browse around. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area, the value is well worth it :)

We love everything about this hotel, especially the Archer's Den suite, responsive staff, AKB kitchen/bar, and location!

Unfortunately the in climate weather was the cause of my stay but my stay was great...my job was walking distance and I ended up extended my stay.
The bar/Restaurant was very tasty. I recommend the Blackened Salmon.
The ammenities ,the choice of rooms and the modern decour makes the Archer very appealing. I will be returning to Archer very soon.

This is a favorite hotel of ours. Location in Merrifield among many shops, restaurants and activities, comfortable, well-designed rooms, bonuses like complimentary breakfast, slippers, Nespresso in-room, and free parking combined with friendly, helpful staff and surprisingly affordable rates make the Archer the only place we stay when we come NoVa to visit family. I probably I sound like I work for them but I don't! 😉 We just really like this hotel.

There were lots of great details — for example, generous sizes of rooms, nice decor, local sweet treats, nice breakfast included. The location is in a very walkable, pleasant shopping district.

All Accommodations was excellent, service staff was truly helpful at all times. In the past we've spent time at their Tyson Corner location. Both locations are clean and modern. Keep up the Good work, your rival business has a lot to do to catch up.

Great Hotel! Cozy, Clean and everyone pays attention to even the little details. I came back to my room to find a note with candies from the service staff! I loved the Nespresso machine in my room too! I highly recommend staying here when you can.

This was a nice hotel. Reservations and check in were great. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the location was nice. The cleaning crew was good on some nights and not on others. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
