Clean rooms, very spacious, breakfast was good and not to far from the airport.
Great hotel. Front desk was very good. Clean hotel. Great location close to restaurants, shopping, gas etc. great that they had laundry.
The location was good.
The breakfast wasn't good
Love the area and the full kitchen.
No complaints
The staff was super. They thought of everything.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was great. The pillows were great. We rarely find good pillows in hotels. We slept great and all amenities were great. The breakfast had a lot of options. I highly recommend this hotel.
I live in the Dallas area and have been coming to Bismarck to work at one of the hospitals for a week/month (most months) since 04/2025. I always stay at the Marriott Residence Inn in Bismarck. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. The staff have all been friendly. I particularly appreciate Jake, who is usually at the front desk during the day, and Jackson whom I have seen primarily at night and weekends. These guys are great. They recognize me and greet me by name with a smile. They are warm, friendly, personable, and caring. It seems truly important to them that I as the customer have a good stay. They addressed any requests or issues promptly. I have traveled extensively in the US (36 states) and internationally (45 countries); no place is perfect, but it is how things are handled when they're not perfect that is key. I look forward to my next stay in 2026.
After traveling half the day from Houston, we checked in around 11 PM exhausted and ready to settle in. Unfortunately, the experience that followed was extremely disappointing. The condition of the pull-out couch — which we fully intended to use — was unacceptable: heavily stained, full of holes, and clearly neglected. The overall condition of the room was terrible and far below what I’ve come to expect from Marriott properties.
We ultimately had to book a second room for the rest of our party, spending a combined total of around $1,200 (including 72,500 points) — only to find that the cleanliness in the second room was nearly as poor. I’ve stayed in many Marriott hotels over the years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.
While I understand the front desk staff can only do so much, the lack of resolution and care in handling the situation was extremely disappointing. We were refunded $150 for the stay, which is completely unacceptable given the condition of the rooms and the amount paid.
I expect far better from a brand that usually prides itself on quality and consistency. I left this stay feeling frustrated, let down, and frankly questioning the value of my Marriott loyalty points.
Nice room. Friendly staff
Only reserved stay here for the Tuesday evening reception advertised on their web page. Arrived and told they hadn't had it since 2020. If I'd known that we would've stayed at Staybridge Suites which had nightly receptions. Front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly; breakfast staff not. Nice 1-bedroom layout but one of the table chairs in very poor condition with broken fabric all over. Faint musty smell in room and hallways but got used to it and didn't bother us later. Good location off main road so no road noise. Breakfast wasn't that good, e.g. gross fruit medley and no waffle machine (although they had syrup).
Nice
Breakfast was great. Nice quiet.
We had a wonderful stay. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms allowed for privacy. Everything was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Location was perfect for dining and picking up needed supplies. Area was very safe.
This place is good, a little dated but not terrible.
We arrived at the property and found that they didn't have a record of our reservation, due to the third party site we booked through -- no fault at all of the hotel. We had a carful of stuff and our dog, and all we wanted was to check in and get some rest. Maria at the front desk sprang into action and was completely wonderful. She helped us at every step along the way with great efficiency and honesty. We resolved the problem relatively quickly, and Maria turned what could have been a horrible experience into a very positive one. Thank you! This is the kind of staff person any hotel wants to have.
