Pullman Anshan Time Square

Great work from Selina and mitigate the situation of tiles falling from the bath room. Breakfast is cold and staff are unfriendly without any greeting. We are expecting better service from a 5 star hotel.

The staffing I was very friendly and helpful

The Pullman Anshan Times Square is a very good business class hotel option. My room was clean, large and comfortable. The bed pillows were entertaining: 2 were too large, 2 were too hard and 2 were just right! The internet could be faster and the room could be refreshed but it worked.

Breakfast was good. There were lots of options but Western choices were limited. An omelette bar or cooked to order options would have been nice... French toast just isn’t the same without Maple syrup.

It is the best hotel in the anshan. The room is big and clean, the service is good, and the staff English ability is not bad.

The hotel is bright and modern, still needs a bit of maintenance work here and there. Staff very helpful and friendly. Gym excellent, pool look good but I didn't use it. Restaurant really good and staff eager to please.

Located in the center of town, it is convenient to move and staff friendly.

This hotel is truly an oasis! The rooms are well equipped, the beds are super comfortable (unlike many of the rock hard beds at other hotels in China). But the highlight has to be the food. A phenomenal assortment of food at every meal and very reasonably priced. You can’t go wrong staying here!

we were in the second of three tiers of quality, so bear that in mind. yes we enjoyed every aspect of this hotel... cannot fault it. northern view great from our spacious room. breakfast great. Pool... be aware china has idiotic rule about wearing hats (!!!) (weird) in a pool at every hotel ... so buy a cheapo loose fit one beforehand...or you'll be paying 100 instead of 10

Stayed here for 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, fairly quiet considering the hotel location, clean and with large bathroom (very nice big shower) and the air con worked well. Large choice at breakfast covering Chinese and western foods. Coffee not great but acceptable. Staff were friendly with reasonable English speaking capability.

Anshan China is a very old industrial steel town that is located in Northern China. It's dirty, it's smoggy, and because of the decline in the steel mills, it is pretty run down and there are a lot of empty buildings and closed stores.
The highlight of this city is the gorgeous Pullman Hotel. The service is fantastic and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is as good as Chinese breakfast buffets come.
The staff speaks English well enough to help out when and where needed.
The food is quite good outside the buffet. I enjoyed some appetizers in the bar that were quite tasty. As you would expect, beer beverages in the bar are quite expensive.

The neighborhood around the hotel is older and rundown, but feels safe enough for a long stroll.

If you're in town on business, the Pullman is the place to stay.

I stayed there for two times now and at both times everything was okay.
Staff is friendly and encouraged - and most of them speak English fluently.
Rooms are also okay and clean.
Breakfast is good quality and a rich choice of food. Also lunch / dinner in the restaurant is recommandable.
Anshan itself is a steel city - so I guess most of the visitors are there for business reasons.

I was pleased with the modern hotel rooms and great food. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Groceries and shopping were available across the street. Highly recommend this hotel if your near Anshan.

Ended up staying here for a week for business. I loved my time here at Pullman so much that I am thinking of using Pullman from now on! (Never used Pullman before!)
Service is right on point, the restaurants (tried the buffet and private dining) was excellent. Room was spacious and clean. Oh, it so worth your money!
I don't think you can get such a quality place and meals for a reasonable price! (especially the buffet!).

I have stayed at the Pullman several times this past year. I've always found it very comfortable and the staff very helpful. The rooms are clean and modern although the last visit the wifi was very hit and miss so resorted to the cable in the desk draw. The price is very reasonable and the breakfast buffet excellent. When in Anshan I will be staying again, no reason the change.

This Pullman hotel made me choose Pullman elsewhere in China as well: Good service, clean and well equipped rooms and fitness area. (I was impressed finding a yoga matt in my closet)
But best of all was the breakfast buffet (If traveling a lot in China, you know how much a well tasting buffet with a large selection can make your day;)

The lobby was beautiful decorated for Christmas and the staff offered nice treats for free. Anshan had great weather during my entire stay, and we enjoyed hiking in the mountain on a sunny day with fresh air(!) so it couldn't be any better

This is my 4th stay here and second for 2017. This gave me a chance to reconsider my previous review and unfortunately I cannot rate much higher.
Staff are not particularly welcoming, with no recognition given to me of my Accor status at check-in and the "Welcome Drink Voucher" I should have received was not forthcoming. Once I had asked for it, I received one stamped "Tea Coffee or Soft Drink". Clearly the management don't understand the purpose of the voucher is to entice guests into the bar, where they generally buy a drink or two in addition to their complimentary one! I did receive a fruit plate, unfortunately no knife, fork or anything to use with it. The room didn't even include a teaspoon to stir coffee.
The lighting remains low, to the point of gloomy in the room and the restaurant.
The room's air conditioning would not lower the room temperature below 24C.
Traffic noise starts at 5am and was definitely a lot louder at the front of the hotel than I have experienced at the back.
This is the best hotel in Anshan by a long way, but that seems to have given rise to complacency of staff and management.

The room to the street is a little bit noisy, you can hear the cars on the street. The room, bathroom and bed is okay. Breakfast no coffeemashine for latte or espresso. The city is a bit dark looks too close to North Korea.
