Der Balkon mit der tollen Aussicht auf den See (muss aber explizit so gebucht werden). Sauberkeit war größtenteils gut.

Cons:

Bereits der Empfang beim Check in war nicht wirklich freundlich, was leider auch so weiterging. Service war daher leider nicht gut. Das Zimmer selbst war genauso wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, allerdings lagen auf dem Balkon in den Ecken Zigarettenstummel, welche man eigentlich vor Ankunft neuer Gäste wegmachen sollte, vor allem wenn diese mit Hund anreisen. Auf der Tagesdecke waren Haare und eins der Kissen hatte Flecken. Die Betten waren unfassbar unbequem und alt haben wirklich keine hohen Ansprüche. Es gab eine regelrechte Senke, sodass wir Rückenschmerzen bekamen. Die Kissen waren sehr hart und unbequem. Am allerschlimmsten war allerdings der Lärm und die Hellhörigkeit im gesamten Haus. Man hört hier wirklich alles durch die Wände durch, an Schlaf war hier kaum zu denken. Eigentlich sollte man sich im Urlaub erholen, wir haben wenn es hoch kommt 3 Stunden geschlafen. Außerdem haben wir, als wir im Bett lagen, beide überall Bisse von irgendwelchen Tieren bekommen, die extrem jucken und schmerzhaft sind.

Ein unvergessliches Vergnügen und mein bisher, ganz ehrlich, schönster Urlaub.
Pros:

Das Hotel Costabella liegt im sehr schönen höher gelegenen (alleine der Anfahrtsweg ist schon idyllisch) Ort „San Zeno di Montagna“ in der Mitte des Ostufers des Gardasees. Die Unterkunft empfand ich als sehr authentisch, das Personal und die Betreiber als sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, und zuvorkommend. Die Räumlichkeiten sind klassisch eingerichtet, kein unnötiger Luxus, sondern sehr charmant, stilecht und sehr sauber. Genau so, wie ich es mir gewünscht und erhofft habe.
Auf den Bildern ist nichts retouchiert oder beschönigt.
Die Terrasse mit dem tollen Ausblick auf Berge, See und den malerischen Ort haben mich sehr gut zur Ruhe kommen lassen und auch der große, einladende Frühstücksraum in dem man morgens freundlich begrüßt, umsorgt und mit leiser angenehmer Jazzmusik empfangen wird, empfand ich als eindrucksvoll angenehm. Das Frühstücksbuffet aus frischem und aromatischen Obst, Gemüse, Aufschnitt, sämtlichen Milchprodukten, feinem Gebäck und natürlich einigen verfügbaren Kaffeevariationen sollte keine Wünsche offen lassen.
Ich war rundum allerbestens zufrieden.

Die Aussicht, welche wir vom Balkon aus hatten, war sehr, sehr gut. Auch im Frühstücksraum hat man einen hervorragenden Blick über den See. Das Zimmer war angemessen groß, das Frühstücksbuffet hatte alles, was ich mir für ein Frühstück wünsche. Brot, Obst, Joghurt, Kuchen, Käse, Wurst...alles perfetto.
