We spent some time here this weekend, and the experience was simply unforgettable.
Some places have a special atmosphere from the very first moment, and this is undoubtedly one of them. The building itself is breathtaking. Every corner, every material, and every detail has been thoughtfully preserved and beautifully presented. Walking through it feels like stepping back in time, while still enjoying an atmosphere of elegance, comfort, and timeless charm.
A special mention goes to Javier. His hospitality was exceptional—warm, genuine, and attentive. You can immediately tell how passionate he is about this remarkable place, and he makes every visitor feel truly welcome. That kind of authentic hospitality is becoming increasingly rare.
What impressed me most was the sense of peace the entire place radiates. It invites you to slow down, disconnect from the outside world, and simply enjoy the moment. It offers a refined, understated sense of luxury—sophisticated yet relaxed, with incredible character.
There are beautiful places, and then there are places that stay with you long after you’ve left. This is definitely one of them. A truly memorable experience, and a place I would recommend without hesitation to anyone looking to discover something genuinely extraordinary.

Sure it’s a bit shabby chic and yes there wasn’t any storage space in our room as the cupboard was taken up with an old duvet, but has bags of character and we found the owner and receptionist both to be charming people.
There was lots of variety provided on our breakfast but little protein and no hot items. No matter, we didn’t have it the next morning.
We loved LaGuardia and it felt like a real privilege to stay in the most impressive building in town.

Por poner solo un ejemplo,es la primera vez q voy a un hotel y no hay recepcionista,nadie a quien preguntar,nadie q te explique normas del hotel,comedor,desayuno,horarios,te una habitación q no era tu reserva ,..etc..en fin había mejor organización en el hotel de los líos de los hermanos marx…una experiencia un poco decepcionante

We liked the character of the hotel and the location of Laguardia
The hotel offered a dinner with wine pairing which we booked well ahead of our stay which was confirmed by reception when we checked in. However the restaurant weren’t aware of the reservation but fortunately were still able to deliver this.
Difficulty accessing the hotel with suitcases as it’s a distance from the car park and lots of steps in and out of the hotel so we suggest you take a day pack if you’re only there for 1 night
En desayuno bueno y completo, la ubicación excepcional, el pueblo está rodeado por una cadena montañosa que de forma espectacular lo protege del mal clima.
El trato que nos dieron fue de otro mundo, gracias al personal super atento, pude organizar una sorpresa romántica para mí pareja en la suite del hotel, y si eso no es superar todas las expectativas aún nos dieron consejos sobre donde aparcar con la moto cerca y cómodos y sitios de interés extra cerca del hotel. De verdad un trato excepcional!

Facilities advertised were not available. No bar, no restaurant, no staff. Didn’t accept Amex despite advertising that they did. Parking was a long distance from hotel and getting luggage to the room was a major problem. Complained to the management but only received a polite apology. Should have received a major discount or compensation. Very poor. - not a place I would stay again.
Außergewöhnlich. Absolute Empfehlung . Das Frühstück, die Zimmer, die Lage, die Sauberkeit und die Freundlichkeit des Personals Jederzeit wieder. Parkplatz war kein Problem, fand sich immer was.

You should avoid this place. We were gourmet breakfast. It was minuscule. The rooms are barely adequate.
There is no place to hang wet towels.
