Ein Volltreffer unter sämtlichen relevanten Titeln.
Pros:

Sehr tolles Hotel, mit äusserst höflichem und hilfsbereitem Personal sowie hervorragender Küche. Beste Lage gleich hinter dem Bahnhof. Unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse wurden ohne jeglichen Abstriche zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt.

Erholung und Genuss in alpiner Atmosphäre
Pros:

Das Hotel ist in einem wunderschönen alpinen Stil eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Der Spa-Bereich ist modern gestaltet und perfekt, um nach einem Skitag zu entspannen.
Am Abend kann man im hoteleigenen Restaurant essen gehen - wir sind sehr froh, dass wir uns dafür entschieden haben, denn das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Zu all diesen Punkten kommt das äusserst aufmerksame und freundliche Personal hinzu. Es hat wirklich alles gepasst!
Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel, das ich nur weiterempfehlen kann.

Wonderful family-run traditional Swiss alpine Hotel in the heart of Zermatt close to the main high street, train station and the Gornergrat train line. The food is amazing including a lovely buffet style breakfast and great evening dinners including some memorable buffet evenings. Spent Christmas at the Hotel, lovely atmosphere and delicious meals. Hotel has a great swimming pool with spa facilities. Service is truly exceptional with long standing friendly staff. Highly recommended.

EXCELLENT SKI HOLIDAY
Pros:

excellent location, original swiss chalet atmosphere, out standing inhouse facilities (large swimming pool, squash, covered, full size tennis court, wet&dry sauna, large relaxation area, a wonderful spa)
Comfortable rooms with Nespresso machine and a choice of teas.
And the food......the best in the village.

Exceptional service and facilities in the alps from a family run hotel
Pros:

We have recently stayed at The Hotel Alex with our family booking a single room, double room and junior suite. All of the rooms were excellent, very clean and well appointed. The breakfast was exceptional and the best we have had whilst skiing, it was buffet style but with made to order cooked options as well, all of which were superb. The crepes were particularly good and there are plenty of other locally sourced options. The evening meals could not be faulted, all of the food is delicious and beautifully served with a good range of wines to go with it.
The spa and pool are a great asset and enjoyed by the whole group after a days skiing.
All of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional with nothing being too much trouble. Hotel Alex is a traditional family run hotel with attention to detail everywhere you look, it has a fantastic bar area equally suitable for couples or large groups with a quiet luxury feel but also a relaxed atmosphere , where again nothing is too much trouble. We very much hope to return soon !

Great views inside and out.
Pros:

What a sweet place to spend our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a suite and a view of Zermatt which was stunning. The hotel is quirky
and so interesting, with a cozy lounge, breakfast room and restaurant. But the sleeping rooms
and baths were upgraded and modern--a perfect atmospheric experience with all the comforts you'd expect from a top tier hotel. The location can't be beat either.

I loved how Resort Hotel Alex felt like a warm Swiss chalet—full of character and heartfelt hospitality. The location is unbeatable, breakfast and dinner at the Alex Grill were delicious.
