Everything was great outstanding
The restaurants were to die for
Beautiful and charming
We had a terrible experience in the restaurant by a wait person who lacked a basic understanding of the English language that ended up costing us a good deal more for bacon that was inedible. Shocking from a property possessing Small Luxury Hotels badge.
This has to be my #1 hotel experience ever. The staff was so great, environment very private and just awesome place and views. I will be back.,
La habitación excelente
El momento del check out
Cute, charming hotel in a great location and a friendly team
Excellent Hotel!
Gorgeous, unique property. If you cannot stand the chain hotels and need a little character in your hotel, you will LOVE Olive. The rest is also amazing 5 star all the way.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Should not be called elite . I rate it 2 stars. Three items in room did not work. Repairs needed in room 2 of the 4 nights. I feel ripped off.
There was a lack of service from the staff. They did not even bother to stop their personal conversations ( front desk staff ) to welcome me when I passed the door.
For a small leading, it was a terrible experience.
Great Hotel!!!
A Sacred Escape in the Heart of San Juan
Olive Boutique Hotel – Small Luxury Hotels of the World
From the moment we arrived at the Olive Boutique Hotel, we felt enveloped in care, beauty, and intentional luxury. Every detail — from the serene Mediterranean-inspired design to the impeccable service — whispered, “You are meant to be here.”
The room was a sanctuary. Thoughtfully curated with rich textures, sensual lighting, and a timeless elegance that invited both rest and romance. The rooftop pool became our altar of bliss — a place where we savored stillness.
What truly made this stay unforgettable, though, was the feeling of being taken care of. Not just accommodated — but seen, cherished, and held in high regard. That’s rare. That’s sacred.
Olive Boutique isn’t just a hotel — it’s a portal. A reminder of how beautiful life can feel when every moment is treated as art.
Can’t wait to return.
Beautiful and clean
Outstand service - GM Brian especially attentive. Great, new restaurant, Bardot, on site. A must try. 1st time - will definitely book again next time in San Juan.
Very disappointed
If this was a $200 (not $500) a night room it would have been fine. Hotel does not look like much from the front, small sign and very dark entrance at night. It is in a good location between the lagoon and ocean. We travel often in all types of properties and locations. The room looks (I think renovated) but has the worst craftsmanship I have ever seen. Then the layout of the room is terrible:
The shower takes up a big portion of the room so we had leave one suite case on balcony.
Bathroom sink is oversized which leaves no room for anything else(see pic)
Glass doors on shelving units block hallway when open (see pic).
Toilet door blocks sink when open (see pic).
Toilet door blocks shower door when open (see pic)
Bed foot board extends outward making it hard to pass (see pic) the corners.
Other issues:
Bed is very firm and the pillows are hard as rock.
No tissues in room.
Only 2 bath towels in room.
Toilet takes 3 plus (hold down for 10 seconds) flushes to clean it.
Safe is over complicated with no directions and didn’t work after getting assistance.
Had an outdoor shower and sort of tube (see pic very weird) but curtains on balcony didn’t close all the way so offered no privacy and if you want to slide them open them you can not.
Street can be noisy, especially in day time.
Clicking noise echoing in hallway all night long.
Stairs to room have no illumination.
Careful where u step there are strange trip hazards all around.
