Não é um hotel 4 estrelas, é mais um motel 2 estrelas

O ar condicionado

Cons:

-A piscina está fora de serviço desde o ano passado e não havia aviso nenhum no website, so soubemos no check in
-O “Garden” na realidade já não existe, é um mato degradado (outra coisa que nao avisam no website apesar de publicitarem)
- Nunca vimos a capela aberta
- No pequeno-almoço faltava o basico, chegamos haviam cestas vazias, um resto de leite, iogurtes que não estavam em condições e ainda faltavam quase 1h para acabar.
- Os colchões tinham desgaste de uso, literalmente covas no meio do colchão
-Imensa humidade nas paredes, precisa de pintura
-Tem maquina de café no quarto, mas não tem capsulas.

Basicamente é um hotel abandonado e sem manutenção. Não é de todo um hotel 4 estrelas.

Prima ruim en rustig hotel snel te bereiken van hoofdstad en vliegveld.
Pros:

Mooi hotel met ruime kamers en een mooie tuin. De kamers en aparte 'huisjes' zijn heel ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. De bedden zijn heel goed. Er is ruime gelegenheid om te parkeren, zowel op het terrein zelf als aan de overkant.

Cons:

Het ontbijt is wat sober, niet heel veel keuze en elke dag hetzelfde. Er is genoeg parkeergelegenheid, maar op het terrein zelf is het heel moeilijk te zien of er auto's op de weg rijden. Aan de overkant is het beter. De horeca in de omgeving is niet zo heel goed, het is beter om naar Ponta Delgada te gaan.

Geen zwembad of tuin met zitjes, verder vergane glorie
Pros:

De kamer en badkamer waren schoon en de kamer was ruim.

Cons:

Vroeger was het vast een mooi hotel maar nu is het vergane glorie: het zwembad, te zien op de foto's van de accomodatie, is buiten gebruik inclusief de ruimte daar rondom. Daar had ik het verblijf juist op uitgezocht. De jongeman bij de receptie haalde zijn schouders daarover op. Daarnaast waren op de foto's leuk uitziende sfeervolle zitjes te zien in een tuin. De zitjes waren er niet en de tuin absoluut niet onderhouden. Ook gemeld maar verder ook geen reactie behalve "sorry".
Er staat geen koelkast op de kamer en ook geen glazen voor water of iets dergelijks. Ook geen waterkoker en die konden/wilden ze ook niet verstrekken. Wel stond er een nespresso-achtig apparaat (maar geen cupjes).
De matrassen waren oud en zakten door, desondanks nog wel redelijk geslapen.
Kortom, zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Top hotel op fantastische plek
Pros:

Mooi hotel op 15 minuten van de luchthaven en Ponta Delgada. De kamers zijn ruim en schoon, bedden prima. Het is een mooi hotel met een prachtige tuin en genoeg parkeergelegenheden.
In het dorpje zitten meerdere restaurants en supermarkten.

Cons:

Helaas was het zwembad dicht, omdat ze bezig waren met werkzaamheden. Vanaf het hotel zelf is het lastig om met de auto weg te rijden, omdat je niet goed kan zien of er auto's aankomen. De parkeerplaats aan de overkant is een stuk beter, dit is ook van het hotel.
