Location and ease of parking
There was no AC and it was very warm, they did provide an extra fan which wound up blowing dust and debris from under the bed into the room. Some of the debris were decals etc from what I assume were previous guests. At breakfast the one morning we also wrapped two pieces of pound cake in a knapkin to take back to our room to have with coffee in our room because so many people were sneezing at breakfast. The host and an interpreter stopped us and took the cake away saying it was not legal to do. More embarrassing than anything with other guests watching. Such a shame to know they would just be throwing it away…hopefully, and not putting it back out on the plates? Their idea of a castle view is left to be seen as it was not that great, I believe it woild have been much better from the “other” property with a Michelin Star Restuafanttyat looks right at the castle, plus they woild have had the on site restaurant to eat at, while the EXE had no such thing. You are forced to drive to eat.

Beds were comfortable and the size of the rooms. Breakfast had plenty on offer.
They first gave us a room which smelled of tabaco, but we asked to change room. Also, hotel is very outdated and would benefit from a renovation.
Good size room, great car park
WiFi was rubbish had move around the room to get connected then it would keep dropping the signal.
The room was large and comfortable. The shower was very good. The was ample covered parking and underground, secure parking was available if you wanted it. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages.
The restaurant only served breakfast during my stay. It was a 15 minute walk into town to find something.
