Gentilezza ed efficienza del personale. Struttura molto pulita

Marianna molto accogliente e super disponibile per qualsiasi problema, fornisce molte informazioni utili per i turisti,, bel posto, giardino bellissimo, ottimo colazione, tutti i servizi funzionano bene,

Confortevole hotel di recente ristrutturazione situato nella parte alta di Casamicciola.
In questa struttura troverete un'attenta gestione familiare quasi tutta al femminile che si vede e si tocca nella cura degli ambienti, nella gentilezza delle due sorelle oltre che nella meticolosa pulizia degli ambienti.
Una nota speciale va al giardino/orto botanico trove troverete enormi piante di banano in frutto, alberi di castagne, avocado e tanti altri frutti particolari

- small, family run hotel,
- great location, private and quiet oasis, yet close to the centre and main piazza,
- lush, beautiful garden, we loved sitting under the huge fig tree, watching the bay and boats passing by
- all the staff was kind and helpful, we got good recommendations on restaurants visited by locals, what to see and how to take the right bus, where we needed,
- we communicated in English, partially in German:)
- on the day of our departure, the owner took us by car to the centre, with our heavy suitcases.

Totally recommended to anyone, looking for an authentic experience.

P.S. It's good to let the hotel know if you have any food allergies or intolerances. I forgot, but I was provided gluten free bread the next day.

The hostess Marianna was so nice! She was really helpful and gave us such good tips, made the trip definitely much better .

Albergo recentemente ristrutturato, pulitissimo. Posizione molto comoda, vicina al centro di Casamicciola ma immersa nel silenzio.
L’albergo ha un giardino bellissimo e pieno di piante particolari dove è possibile fare colazione. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile.

Super séjour à tous points de vue ! Hôtel calme avec un magnifique jardin. L'accueil est chaleureux et les conseils proposés avisés.

Location bellissima, immersa in un giardino curatissimo. Proprietari bravissimi, sempre disponibili e ospitali, ci hanno dato supporto per ogni cosa. Colazione ottima, la consiglio.

L'ospitalità di Marianna, responsabile della struttura, è stata più che eccellente. Fin dal nostro arrivo, ci ha coccolato e si è presa cura del nostro soggiorno, cercando di soddisfare tutte le nostre richieste e curiosità. Oltre ad aver svolto un impeccabile ruolo di "cicerona" di Ischia, raccomandandoci i luoghi di esclusivi da visitare in soli 3 giorni sull'isola, si è accertata che in camera e durante la nostra permanenza usufruissimo di tutti i comfort per rilassarci e trovarci a nostro agio (anche facendoci scegliere la camera e la vista che preferivamo!). Il nostro soggiorno è stato davvero impeccabile e quando torneremo sull'isola sicuramente torneremo ad alloggiare presso l'Hotel Matarese!

The hotel was in an excellent location just a short walk from the Casamicciola centre. The room had a gorgeous little balcony to sit out on in the mornings, overlooking the beautiful garden with a view out to the sea!
Marianna, her family and the staff were incredibly nice and friendly, giving us lots of helpful tips for enjoying exploring the island. They also helped us hire a scooter which was a brilliant way to get around!

The host (marianna) was extremely friendly and efficient, she picked us up from the port and returned us when we left. Nothing was too much trouble, we had to move room due to an ant infestation after an overnight storm and she got stuck in and did most of it herself. We also had a power cut related to the storm and she brought candles to the room. She also provided us with coffee and cake on occasion.

We loved the room which was in the extensive garden and had a nice sea view.

If we were to return to Casamicciola we would definitely go back to Matarese Hotel.

The host was so kind with us, like you are family, and provide us with many things to do in Ischia. It's a beautiful house, with a really nice garden (quite big !) and a generous breakfast.
