Everyone in the hotel tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Whenever we approach any of the staff with a query, everyone jumped into help and always answer with a smile.
I stayed at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove from January 10–13, and it was the perfect way to end my two-week winter vacation. It truly made the last leg of my trip unforgettable.
I used my Nightly Upgrade Awards and was upgraded to a Rooftop Escape Suite with a private pool — an incredible surprise. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, I really felt recognized and appreciated throughout the stay.
From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. The door attendant helped with my luggage and personally walked me to the front desk. Check-in didn’t feel transactional at all. The staff took time to introduce the hotel, explain events, transportation options, and share tips about exploring Sentosa Island. As a first-time visitor, that meant a lot — I didn’t have to ask basic questions because they were already one step ahead.
The Escape Suite is about 80 sqm and very well laid out. There’s a separate living room, a large walk-in closet, and a spacious bathroom. The 180-degree views of the bay and ocean are beautiful, especially at sunset. The private balcony pool can be accessed from the living room, bedroom, and even the bathroom, which made the whole space feel open and luxurious. It’s honestly one of the best Marriott rooms I’ve stayed in.
Breakfast was also a highlight. The quality stood out — fresh seafood like smoked salmon, good cheeses, Asian options like dim sum and laksa, made-to-order eggs, tropical fruits, fresh juices, and a great pastry selection. It felt elevated without being over the top.
What impressed me most was the consistency. Every interaction — front desk, restaurant, housekeeping — felt friendly and genuine. This stay not only met expectations but exceeded them, and it gave my vacation a very strong and memorable ending. I would absolutely come back.

Singapore is the best place in the world in my opinion and this hotel just proves why...it was my 50 birthday and my husband arranged for me to have balloons and a cake. When I entered the room I was so surprised it looked lovely and the cake was yummy.
All staff at this hotel are friendly and professional. They will fulfill yr requests. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard.
The food here is yummy. They have a wide range of food to choose from. The grounds are well maintained and the pool area is very clean with plenty of clean towels. There is also a well equipped gym on site.
Our room had a marine view, which was beautiful. The area is lovely to walk around with other restaurants and a 7-11..there is a free shuttle that will take u to the station..
I would highly recommend this hotel. We usually stay in W hotels when we travel and this one did not disappoint
