Exceptional beachfront location with fantastic service and a peaceful vibe
Pros:

I’ve just completed a wonderful five-night stay at Evergreen Resort, and it was a highlight of my time on Koh Samui. The resort is located right on Chaweng Beach, meaning you can walk from your room to the sand in just a few minutes. While it’s in the heart of the action—close to major shopping centres, bars, and restaurants—it remains surprisingly quiet. I couldn't hear the noise from the nearby beach bars at all, which made for a very restful stay.

The room was immaculate, modern, and very well-presented. I especially liked the double set of curtains, which allowed for perfect control over privacy and natural light. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly to keep the room at a pleasant temperature. Having a lift was also a massive relief after previous stays where I’d had to lug my suitcase up several flights of stairs!

The private balcony with its coffee table and clothes rack was incredibly useful for relaxing and drying my swimwear. A really thoughtful touch was the provision of dedicated blue beach towels in the room, which were changed regularly. This meant I didn't have to use my own travel towels, which was a great bit of service.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Even with minor language barriers, the reception team concisely explained everything I needed to know and assisted me with booking a tour and my airport transfer. The hospitality at the beachfront restaurant was also a standout—the young team there were very friendly, and the buffet breakfast had a good variety that changed slightly each day.

One unique aspect of the location is the flight path from the nearby airport. Watching the planes fly over Chaweng Beach while swimming was actually a cool experience, and since there are no late-night flights, it didn’t disturb my sleep at all.

Cons:

Overall, this resort offers excellent value for money. Between the included breakfast, free sunbeds, and the sheer convenience of the beachfront location, it made for a stress-free and very relaxing five days.

Das Hotel hat eine wirklich gute Lage direkt im Geschehen an der Chaweng Beach Road und am Strand. Dennoch ist es ruhig in den Zimmern. Das Hotel kann zudem durch große Balkons und bequeme Betten begeistern. Anders als in vielen Hotels ist die Klimaanlage hier auch nicht zu kalt. Das Personal ist teilweise sehr freundlich, teils kurz angebunden, aber nicht unhöflich.
Beim Frühstück konnte man im schönen Restaurant mit Blick aufs Meer sitzen. Dieses ist auch für ein schnelles Abendessen zu empfehlen und bietet leckere Curries.
Der Pool und die ganze Anlage waren begrünt und ansprechend gestaltet.
Preis-Leistung ist gut 👍🏻

Cons:

W-Lan Verbindung war teilweise instabil. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, insbesondere im Hauptgebäude. Beim Frühstück wäre etwas mehr Auswahl wünschenswert, insbesondere hinsichtlich Obstoptionen, Joghurt oder Haferflocken anbieten etc. Wer nicht gern herzhaft frühstückt, muss hier mit einer etwas dürftigen Anzahl an Optionen auskommen.
Der Fliesenboden im Zimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zudem sowohl in den Zimmern als auch am Strand leider starker Fluglärm.

Wenn ich nur vorhabe am Strand zu bleiben und alles fußläufig im Umkreis machen zu wollen: OK
Pros:

Das Hotel ist mir bekannt und hat mir wieder gefallen.
Das Personal ist überwiegend gut.

Cons:

Katastrophale Parksituation, wenn man einen Leihwagen hat.
Der beschriebene "Parkplatz" ist eine enge Fläche mit enger Zufahrt, auf der auch zig Motorbikes abgestellt werden.
Zudem ist die Anfahrt über die Beach Road/Touristenhauptstraße eine große Herausforderung wegen des Verkehrs, Einbahnstraßenregelung und der Motorbikes von allen Seiten.

Perfekte Lage zwischen Strand und City, trotzdem ruhig, Moderne gepflegte Hotelanlage, weitläufig. Moderne Zimmer und schönes Bad, sehr gutes Preis-&Leistungsverhältnis

Kein Service-Personal, die Koffer zum Zimmer bringen, entgegen allen anderen Hotels auf der Rundreise in Thailand.
