Lansdowne Kenmare

We had a lovely weekend in Kenmare last weekend as a family of 19. The Landsdowne was so lovely from the big open fireplace and tasteful Christmas decorations as you walk into the lobby on a cold wintry night. We had a lovely meal in the hotel yet again by a lovely open fire. Breakfast is so lovely we all came & went to the large wooden table that felt like a big family table. The food was great the warm granola is divine. Big thank you to all the staff that looked at us so well Eve, Stacey, Eve B, Ethen, Jerry and Eve L.

What a wonderful night we had in Landsdowne Kenmare last night. A group of friends and I had Thanksgiving Dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere and ambience was cozy and inviting, with gentle live music in the background. The food was simply delicious, so tasty, great size portions and presented beautifully. The service was amazing, all waiters were so friendly and more than helpful. We cannot wait to have another occasion to return to have dinner again. Thank you to all your staff for a wonderful night.

Skip Killarney and stay here in Kenmare instead! Truly a great Kenmare experience. The rooms are very modern and spacious with large oversized windows and high ceilings. The owner, Patrick, really makes you feel at home in his wonderful boutique hotel. Don’t skip out on this property as it’s truly the best address in Kenmare. Patrick was so kind and outlined fantastic spots for us to see around the ring of Kerry and in downtown Kenmare. The staff are truly dedicated to their passion in hospitality and treat guests with so much respect and warmth.

Don’t skip on their Beetroot Hummus Egg dish for breakfast!!

Lovely rooms, hotel was nice and clean only downside was the heat in the room. Unbelievably hot but probably my own fault I couldn’t see anywhere to turn it down or off. Went for breakfast the next morning and it was a continental that was included in our price not my thing so we just left. I would recommend. Very friendly in reception.

Myself and my Wife stayed recently We originally booked for 2 nights but we're enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to book a 3rd night. It's good value for money. The Staff are all very polite and helpful. The Food is excellent. The room was very clean, large and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located next to many great bars and restaurants. We will be back. Thank you for a very pleasant time.

We stopped in for a drink as we were dining nearby. Wouldn't bother going back. Service poor and it took a long time to get a drink even though the bar was not busy. A pint and a glass of rosè- almost €20. Plenty better options around.

Amazing staff. Decor in hotel is very stylish except for bedrooms. Although they were comfortable, the record was very bland and lacked luxury. For that reason, I would not return. Breakfast to the room was amazing . Again, the staff are real stars of the show. A beautiful Kerry welcome.

Having difficulty finding a taxi, we called into hotel and asked Eve at reception for help. Despite the fact we were not residents, she went to great trouble calling several companies. Such obliging service. A great advertisement for the hotel’s standards.

I thought this hotel was perfectly placed in Kenmare. It is a very nice and cozy property with very firendly and helpful staff. They reached out to me ahead of time to ask if I needed a dining reservation and procured a table at the best place in town.

This hotel is a gem. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. Easy to park on-site, or nearby. The bed and pillows are top notch and luxurious. The hotel amenities (restaurant, bars, cafe) are high quality and serve delicious food. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We are very glad we chose to stay here and definitely recommend it.

Great location, beautiful welcoming spaces to gather around the lobby and cool bar spaces. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Our room was a king and was coconut to move about freely. Bed was comfortable. Large bathroom, no plugs, no hot was at the sink one evening. Our room was too warm so we slept with the windows open and it was a peaceful sleep with no noise from town. Breakfast was fine in the morning. I would recommend this as a great place to stay in Kenmare.

The hotel is elegant, well staffed. and the staff are very helpful. The rooms were clean the food delicious and I loved the modern decor.

The hospitality of Eileen and
Patrick Hanley will be long remembered. This was a second visit for my wife and me, and it did not start off well. These things happen, and they can go one of two ways. The immediate response of our hosts and the sincerity with which they treated us is the hospitality business at its best.
You will love this hotel, and you will feel the pride its owners take in it and in the Kennare community.

Great location! Great town! Wish we would have been there longer than 1 day.

A lovely hotel with character, comfortable sitting areas, a nice morning breakfast room, bar and lounge area. No elevators but staff was willing to help carry bags if needed. Rooms were clean and nice, on the smaller side but comfortable. The hotel is nicely located.

The Lansdowne Kenmare Hotel is an absolutely fabulous home base for seeing the region. The hotel is extremely clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts each day and interacted with the very friendly staff. Throughout our stay, we felt like very welcome guests thanks to the earnest hospitality of the staff and owners. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting the Kenmare area.

We had a lovely meal and evening in your restaurant - including some fantastic drinks! And we had a superb full Irish for breakfast on our second morning.
Kenmare and the surrounding areas are stunning - it’s a beautiful part of the world and we would love to come back one day.

Great place to stay! The bar was really nice and staffed by a professional! The parking can be a little tricky!

We recently got married in Kenmare, and had the Lansdowne as our base for the bridal party (about 15 of us). The staff were incredible - couldn’t do enough for us on the morning of the wedding, accommodating suppliers like photographers etc and also gifting us with flowers, complimentary Prosecco and when we arrived back from our wedding venue at 3am - Tayto sandwiches! Such lovely touches. In the run up, the general manager Bakarne was fabulous and the team over the weekend were amazing. The hotel in general is so beautiful with lovely spacious rooms.
