Really enjoyable stay in a delightful hotel. Will be going back
Pros:

Lovely location on the quayside. Very attractive building. Light and airy and nicely decorated. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Very disappointing.
Pros:

Location is fine early morning but not to great later when it gets busy.

Cons:

We received a very negative and unhelpful reception when we arrived. Warm welcome it was NOT. At the very overpriced breakfast various items were not kept replenished promptly. The room had no table with a mirror above where I could see to do my hair and make-up. We all felt the hotel was overpriced. As it had been recommended by a relative we felt extremely disappointed. If we had received the sort of welcome we should have then we may have been less upset by the other negative aspects. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in on our holiday and the one we liked the least.

The perfect stay in the centre of Saint Martin de Ré
Pros:

Excellent location on the harbour, but still quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful staff.

L’emplacement sur le port est parfait tout en préservant le calme.
Le personnel est très accueillant et à l’écoute.

Pros:

Location was excellent and property was very clean.

Cons:

As there was no fridge in the room and no air conditioning I was definitely surprised to see the hotel was charging to refill water bottles. This definitely lets them down in my opinion.

Our stay was relaxing, conveniently located and the breakfast was AMAZING!
Pros:

Centrally located with free parking about a kilometre from the hotel. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming - it felt like a family run hotel.

Cons:

Very little, to be honest. Maybe better air-conditioning in the room - the unit provided wasn't very effective in the high heat.
